This place is just beautiful. It's a perfect place for kids to explore wherever and however they want, no tracks or orders. We need places like this. Not every area needs to draw crowds with modern IP and Disney doesn't understand it.

yeah this place looks awesome. I actually never knew you could go to it. My parents never took me to the island. I always thought of this elusive and mysterious island. I heard the news and had to look it up. Really cool place

Just listen to the video... Kids are enjoying it! They are making real exploring memories! And it's just beautiful! This island is an assest! Are they going to give us caves to explore in the new cars land? Or just long, loud and hot lines to wait in?!

I really like Tom Sawyer Island. It's a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the park. I fear they may close it at some point. If they do, I will miss it, especially the caves.

It’s about time for Tom Sawyers island to close but filling in the rivers of America is a warcrime, they easily could’ve kept the rivers and shortened them substantially and built cars behind the river
