What an interesting sports artifact this is. In baseball, he's describing the disastrous Baseball Network television rights plan, which fell apart when baseball went on strike that year. The caller asking about a classic sports channel predicted the Classic Sports Network that launched in 1995 and was later ESPN Classic. And Costas describes a 4 team college football playoff, which finally happened in 2014.
