Played this a few weeks ago with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed it! 😊 It's supposed to be a one and done, but we want to play through one more time to better our score

I....... want to respond to this so badly.... but it could spoil the next videos (which are already recorded). I will say, this does seem semi replay able. There are two specific choices I’d love to see played out the other way....

This is timely - I'm hoping to play this game this weekend - or at least one of them. I've got this & Monochrome, Inc. Just finished Clank! Legacy w/ a group so wanting to get into another longer game, however one of the people isn't into co-ops, so not sure I can talk them into something like 7th Continent or Pandemic Season 2 (even though they liked the stickers & such). Perhaps Detective or Chronicles of Crime will work. How puzzley is 7th Continent? I know there are some hidden things to find, but wasn't sure how much "figuring out" there would be. Thanks for keeping the videos going!

Hmmmmmm....... I mean, I really love 7th Continent - it has some puzzles.... it's a lot of exploring.... I honestly think it's best at 1 or 2 players, and "okay" at 3 or 4, given its nature. Also, cooperative, so might not work for that one player. I'm a huge Pandemic Legacy fan.... obviously, still cooperative... I'm clearly a HUGE fan of Aeon's End (and, the Legacy version) but it is also cooperative. I do think it's worth looking at Detective: City of Angels (the Van Ryder game, not the Portal game), if you want a competitive experience. Or, Betrayal Legacy is pretty neat and competitive. I'm halfway through that with my friends..... Or, The Rise of Queensdale, or Charterstone might also be worth a look? They're also competitive Legacy games.... Any of those stand out?

@@TomTeachesGames Rise of Queensdale or Charterstone might be a possibility. Will have to investigate that deeper. Thankfully we do all like puzzle/escape sort of games (and escape rooms proper), so that's why I'm hoping I can sell Detective or Chronicles of Crime.

“I’m not going to write in the adventure book because I refuse to do that...always.” 😂 So did I. I played this and monochrome inc and enjoyed them both as a light story/puzzle game. I’m eagerly awaiting the volcano one that hopefully releases this year. On a different note, I just watched your Coimbra video and played last night, super helpful, and I enjoyed that game too. Thanks Tom!

Tom Teaches I found the Monochrome One to be a bit more difficult, but not by much. It’s a completely different setting and there’s some minor changes to the numbered spots you interact with. It feels much more suspenseful, you’re sneaking around and it does feel like you’ll get caught at any moment.

So we finished Chapter 1 relatively successfully... Do you know about the scoring? Are we counting all the health cards we still have or just turned up?
