@@jennifermoreland9111me too! I’ve never thought this. I fell it’s short sighted to label people you know only from a scripted TV show, regardless of what he did… I have my thought on Ariana too… I agree most people aren’t bad…this relationship was pretty predictable, although, things can always change.

Sandoval I can appreciate yr feelings. U did well on Special Forces. However, u always seem to leave out that Ariana was the most liked female on VPR. Yr story doesn't align with hers at all. She stood by u thru all yr shit. And where is Rachel now?? No mention of her. Lose the white nail polish, stop saying 'like' every other word. U speak like a 15 yr old. I've watched all of VPR. I have cheated, on my husband. My life blew up. It never ends well. I want u to really grow up from this. Swartz, u aren't mr.nice guy. U spoke to & treated Katie like shit. U stuck up for everyone but her. I like u as well, truly. Come on guy's...more accountability. Ppl see it as insincere because that's how u talk about it. Like Ariana was just 1/2 of yr brand?? That's a knife to her heart. America sees that, u still don't. There r 5 women on the 'View,' not 4. They've talked to President's, First Ladys & Pulitizer prize winners. Woopie is an EGOT winner. Sunny is a prosecutor. Sara a GMA commentator, Joy a teacher & a comedian & Alisia worked in politics in the White House. Good Luck with them! Swartz Katie was such a ride or die for u. The way u talked to her...ugh! U both should stop drinking. Unsolicited advice from older & wiser now who was also young & dumb once. But I was 20 not 40. We live & learn. I wish u both well, truly. This is nothing u both can't come back from. Just own up more! I am 64, btw.

There’s a pattern here of blaming his long term spouses for their break ups. Such as this Chicago girl, she was insecure. We all know how he feels about Kristin, and how he blamed her for everything. How insecure she was. And then he did the same thing to Ariana.

And narcissists know how to manipulate tests. Tests are not a good indicator - people know what the right answers are. His narcissism is indicated more in his anecdotal experiences and his lack of empathy for others. I don't think he has npd or anything but he does have a very clear inability to feel empathy. There's a reason why, but no idea what that is.

Tom Sandoval doesn't realize what a great interview with Dr. Drew turned out to be. Dr. Drew was completely himself and that is what you want in an interview. He could not help himself from delving into a Tom's tramatic situation and be helpful to another that got himself into harmful situation. Dr. Drew felt comfortable to ask the questions to help Tom be able to look at himself in a realilistic manner. He made a necessary move in life for him that everyone said a betrayal. It wasn't a betrayal. It was a layered relationship that was based on only the two in it know about. We wish them both much success and hope for them to move forward unharmed. Dr. Drew was completely himself, transparent and humanly and was one of the best interviews I have seen in a long time.

I didn’t think my trauma’s from 6-18+ had anything to do with my life but i’m almost 28, with so much going through my head and trauma resurfacing. Good luck to you, Tom and can’t wait for you to continue to grow. 👏🏼

As someone who's 51 now and have experienced childhood/adulthood from 4-24. Started in my family home & continued into my first marriage. What saved me was getting into counseling and in patient therapy. I did in patient for 6 months then had weekly counseling sessions for almost a decade. Now I go monthly, just to stay on track. If I need more than monthly appointments I schedule more sessions that month. I'm so much better than I was and I'm so thankful & grateful to all the Dr's who helped me become the best version on myself I can be. You got this! You are so strong & such a fighter! I listened to the end and care. What an incredible distinction made by Dr. Drew about apology vs amends! Tom, if you want to make amends, give Ariana a fair price for the house and let her move on with her life. Put HER first, do what is right. (You will make back your fortune, clearly.) But yes you have to sacrifice something meaningful. for her. I still haven’t heard you empathize with her at all. That is the way to get people back on your side, to finally REALLY take a moment to stop thinking about yourself and care about what you put her through. I know it’s hard when you’re on the defensive, and I really admire how you are making so many healthy and brave decisions in the way you are moving forward from this… but that’s your last frontier and you haven’t done it yet. Don’t have 5 kids, just take responsibility for every lie you’ve told.

Its easy to answer a test knowing you are specifically avoiding answers that would sound narcissistic. If you are are knowingly taking a "are you a caring person" test and wanted to do well, you would select think of others over yourself type answers. A person can not say they are a person that admits they dont know everything etc while OVERTLY telling everyone to f off when ever they make a suggestion such as Katie and Shwartz not liking the bar name and telling Lisa (the main owner and experienced restauraunt owner) to stay out of it and YOUR ideas were number 1 and you know best when opeing tom toms. It was 90% her money.

I think he out-smarted the rest. He says he has much to sounding introspective but how he would fight and give vanderpump and the other owner such a hard time. He believed his ideas were better and would get angry if he didn't get his way. He was always a know it all and tried to look good while making his friends look bad. He lied often and continued patterns of treating women poorly. Leaving one for another. If he does not identify his problems, he's never going to learn from them. I think he knew what they were asking on the task and answered the way he believed he should've answered in order to prove he wasn't a narcissist. But clearly he's got more than one trait.

But if they feel numb, dead inside, and nothing gives them pleasure, anger is the easiest way to feel something. Anger is energy coursing through your body. It's a physical charge that at least makes people feel alive, and they get addicted to it. Not that it's an excuse to abuse someone on the internet...Another great deep convo!

Tom can not take advice or opinions from anyone! It has been made loud and clear on vanderpump that his opinion and ideas are the ONLY good ones and are above all others. just like getting pissed at Lisa every time she had a thought about Tom toms even though she has yrs of experience and owned 90%. And Im talking spit flying from the mouth, disdain for her when she ever had an idea. Among many other incidents of this behavior with many other cast members. What I have seen since Scandovol is him continuing to not listen to peoples advice. The haters have made it clear what would allow people to move on but he continues to think HIS idea/way is the best. It didnt work and he has continued to keep doing it over and over and over, rather than take advice. This all shows he has learned NOTHING, he still thinks HIS ideas/ways trump all other humans. and still takes no accountability. Its fairly simple what was needed for people to move on, and is the right thing to do, so he shows he can not take advice once again and HE is the reason it went on for so long.

I absolutely loved this interview and everything Dr. Drew had to say. I have been a forever fan of his as a trauma mentor. I have helped people who have experienced childhood trauma and have not properly processed it, causing it to get stuck in their bodies. This often leads to certain reactions, behaviors, and repetitive patterns. Tom, I would love for you to read my book as I believe it could really help you. I also want to express how much I appreciated your vulnerability during the interview. I never once thought you were a narcissist. We all have some narcissistic traits, and I see them every day. I don't believe what you did was anything out of the ordinary that someone else wouldn't have done. I'm not saying it's right, and I'm not making excuses for the behavior, but there is always a reason behind our actions. I'm glad you had the opportunity to speak your voice and talk to Dr. Drew. I also loved that Swarts was there with you. I have been a fan of both of you for many years now. Sometimes, we have to hit rock bottom in order to find our way back up. I just want to say that I think you're great, worthy, and deserving of this opportunity. It really opened other people's eyes to your vulnerable side and showed that we all have our inner child within us. Sometimes, as adults, we seek what we didn't receive as children. I wish you the best of luck, and if you are interested in reading my book, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would love to share more about what I do as a trauma mentor who believes the world can have more trauma informed spaces especially TV. www.amazon.com/How-Deal-Emotions-Trauma-Informed-Transformation/dp/B09LB1MQRT/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=214BJRG8S7YJK&keywords=how+do+i+deal+with+my+emotions&qid=1698434982&sprefix=how+do+i+desl+wit%2Caps%2C105&sr=8-3

@Tom, I have been telling people for the longest you are NOT a narcissist. I have seen you have SO MUCH empathy for others over the last 12 years and helping people out that you care about. And that my friend means you can not be a narcissist- because of your empathy for others. However, as a fellow (and recovered) Co-dependent- it would really be nice to literally just NOT date for a while and boost a deep self worth and self esteem within YOURSELF. Show yourself that you can be on your own- and that right there will help heal your insecurity in yourself and you'll thrive beyond belief one day with a genuine, honest, loving relationship.

P.S.S. After the extreme fall-out from SCANDOVAL - I had really hoped that Tom & Rachel might stay together, especially after all the destruction that was caused - it felt like maybe if they made it as a couple it would all have been worthwhile ... 💔

This was worth the time to watch and really listen . Dr Drew is brilliant and both Toms have walls and a bunch of immaturity stopping them from growing into real, lovable Men!! I hope they continue to grow and mature they both really have it with in them!! ☮️

Great show today, Tom. Even though I am not a fan of Dr. Drew’s work, I still found this episode to be very helpful. I don’t think you’re a narcissist at all. Most people have a couple narcissistic traits but that doesn’t make one a narcissist. Keep growing, learning and opening up and you’ll be just fine.
