There were no mods at all in that gameplay. While some of the scenes like the one where he spawned a bunch of jets were done in Gmod rather than in the game, and of course he has his usual mocap scenes, the game itself wasn't modded and is just as ridiculous as it looks. I picked it up after seeing Badger's video and it's all kinds of stupid fun, even in singleplayer.

10:41 So, fun fact about this part of the video: when Badger posted it for the first time, this part was to show the sound of the "anime girl" whenever she got stuck in a web, which was that typical "pervert grunting", if you know what I mean. It was all for a good laugh. In fact, I do believe even the model was more exposed, so to speak, the first time, but I ain't sure. Anyway, a fun joke about the anime clichê stuff. BUT, if I undertood it how it went, KZbin did not liked that joke due to what it was aimed for, and maybe the model too, and I think the video got removed. He had to then cut that part and then change the model that you see now.

So EDF 4.1 and EDF 5 I highly recommend. They are cheesy and fun in a way most games don't come close to. The graphics aren't close to top of the line, partly on purpose. That way they can put an insane horde of enemies on your tail without any dip to the framerate. They also made EDF Iron rain which I say avoid. Iron rain decided to make itself pretty and thus is far less fun on a functional level.

Earth Defense Force 2017 (aka Earth Defense Force 3) was on the Xbox 360, which was my as well as most people in the west's introduction to EDF as it was the first game released in the US. Then in 2013 they released Earth Defense Force 2025 (aka Earth Defense Force 4) also on Xbox 360. Finally, in 2016 they released a updated and remastered version of EDF 2025 on PC, which was named Earth Defense Force 4.1: Shadow of New Despair. These were then followed by EDF 5 and EDF 6 which just recently released in Japan and sadly hasn't released in the US yet. EDF 2017/3 and EDF 2025/4/4.1 are part of the same story with the latter being a sequel to the former taking place 8 years after the defeat of the initial ravager invasion. EDF 5 is a sort of soft reboot of the series with a new alien menace called the "primers" showing up for the first time and then EDF 6 is a sequel to EDF 5 once again happening a couple years after EDF 5.

EDF 4.1 was released in 2016 but the series has been going since the early 2000s. It looks older because they don't change engines because if they did, the games wouldn't run. So they've been using the same engine for quite a while.

As a Warframe player, I'm not scared of Fencer's dash cancel. You can bullet jump in WF by holding Shift to sprint, crouching with CTRL, and then jumping with Space. My left pinkie is dammed noodle by the end of a Warframe session.

I remember when I played warframe (millions of years ago) I found a movement tech that was just this but taken one step further, and I don’t see anyone ever do it even now (when I rarely check out warframe content). I would just zoom around the map, being in the air more than I am on the ground and leaving all of my allies in the dust as I go to fight a whole army by myself. I never got far in the game but it was fun while I was interested. I don’t remember what I did to go so fast, but I was definitely zooming.

Sad to say (well, sad in one way but amazing in another) that all the enemies badger described in this video is all 100% vanilla gameplay and this game has no mods. This franchise is a breed of game all on its own. And the other games are just as fun. And not even lying right now, they just released another EDF game. This franchise is by far one of the most over the top, fun/funny, ridiculous franchises ever made. I 110% reccomend this game to anyone interested and has a few extra bucks in their bank account that's not gonna be spent on necessities like food, water, medical or bills. The dialogue is so cheesy it makes mac and cheese seem lacking. The story is not a homeric epic, or realistic in any shape or form and has so many explosions, it makes Michael Bay jealous. And even playing solo is fun, but playing with friends MAKES THIS GAME.

ok so to explain the level of grind picking up an armor crate ups a character's armor by 1 for each crate picked up once the mission is completed. armor is your characters hp. weapon crates give a random weapon from the available pool but each weapon has a star rating max star rating means the weapon has maxed stats. playing online is fun but you are limited in the armor you can have and the weapons level so to get to the real crazy stuff you need to reach an online total completion rate of 75% (that means you have done 75% of all the missions spread through all the difficulties with every class) but once you reach 75% online total completion it allows you to set up no limit lobby's allowing you to play full armor and endgame weapons on every mission also edf 5 is out and its sequel edf 6 that has been recently released in japan. surprisingly edf 6 follows 5 as the aliens from 5 come back in 6 and decide they want to pull some skynet terminator sh*t to win edf 5

Earth Defense Force 4.1 The Shadow of New Despair was released on July 18th 2016, so the guess on before 2010 isn't correct there. And I've seen this be brought up in the comments from a week ago there are no mods currently present in that session/footage Badger used for the video on screen. Granted I'm not all surprised that many have guessed and or assumed mods were present but yeah Badger played all vanilla except for a few custom maps

Fun fact the Earth Defense Force franchise dates back all the way to the SNES. It was a shooter in the style of R-Type or Gradius back then.

The edf is simple and enjoyable. Also insane, there are zero f's given in terms of story and it works. For reference in the gameplay clips there are no mods that is 100% normal gameplay.

This game is a remaster of Earth Defense Force 2025. Which was on X BOX 360. But this game is on PS4. 4.1 improved everything. So it is better than 2025.
