Wow, didn't expect to see you transcribe my favorite drummer! For the past year I've been working on being able to play Meshuggah's Corridor of Chameleons, and I imagine it will be several months more before my double bass is up to speed. Learning Haake's compositions is an immensely challenging, gratifying exercise. Phenomenal transcription work as always.

Can I ask HOW you do these transcriptions? I see so many drummers playing flawless versions of songs that's I've known my whole life but never really been able to decipher every single nuance of. This is done by computers or something or by hand/ear? It took my forever just to transcribe seven steps to heaven and I still got it wrong! Lol

Everything is done by ear. Though obviously you can use technology to your advantage - i.e. slow down the tricky bits (you can even do that on KZbin now). It just takes practise like everything else, really. Also, Seven Step to Heaven isn’t exactly an easy piece to transcribe! I would make mistakes too 😊

Increased the treble on the completely wrong spot for the cymbals. That's why the sound is so grating. Better mix and it would sound good
