Also, battery. The high refresh rate thing is cool for about ten minutes then you dont really care but youre stuck with a feature thats gunning for your battery. I'll take a fine-tuned 60htz OLED panel over the nicest 120htz display any day. In 1-2 generations when they figure out the battery issue I'll think about it but for now in 2020 it's just not there. I have had the LG V60 now for about 3 weeks. It is a GREAT phone. The thing I like is the ability to use it as a Dual and Single device. The case makes the big phone bigger, but not a issue for me. Sound is great, Camera is as good as I have seen on any phone. Video is also excellent! Battery life has been the best I have ever had. Using it as a single screen phone I have gone almost 2 days of normal to heavy use. With the Dual screen I did not notice too much difference, but have not used it too much. The Dual screen capability is very useful for multitasking. You will get used to the size easily. Dual screen is very nice but as just a phone it is terrific! Adding the Dual Screen only makes it much more enjoyable ! Price wise you cant beat it. If you can get by with 60hz screen, which you wont notice at all, this is a GREAT choice! As per the great review, fingerprints are something you will have on any phone. The case front is a mirror finish and will atrack those fingerprints. But will wipe off easily and for me it is a easy trade off, as it looks very nice.

I picked up one, new, for 300 bucks. And it's actually a pretty significant upgrade over my Galaxy Note 10 plus. Even the screens, the lower resolution screen didn't seem inferior to the much higher resolution screen of the samsung. But I really missed having the LG's quad dac, and definitely getting my money's worth on that already. The dual screen is pretty interesting, I like how you can double tap to turn it on and off which makes it really easy. It's good for playing games, emulators, propping it up to watch videos, and I also use it at work to keep my electronic log on hand while I do something else on my phone. And the Android 12 update does work, missing two things on mine though, I can no longer skip songs or pause and play from the lock screen, and the option to have the phone stop charging at 80% isn't there either. But other than that everything else works flawlessly. LG promises support up to Android 13, so I'm glad I got in when I did, I really do enjoy this phone and all of its features. Especially for the price.

Hey there Tomas. I was listening to this video as I was walking through my unit and I could have swore you were following me. The speakers on this is awesome I mean vibration while you were talkin was not expected. I appreciate a good built device and I've had many of them over the years. I'm not disappointed with anything that I am seeing as yet and I hope that me picking this up a little over a year later is well worth it. I went to a online resource that is well-known to purchase a gently-used or possibly not used at all as it was listed as open box. I think I did good as the unit looks as it's this never been used before and the dual-screen had not been opened upon my purchase. I'm hoping this unit last me at least two years with the updates and with the usability. I'm not fond of the dual screen mirrored effect but so far it is not then problematic for me I'm still learning to adjust to it as it is a new feature but it is more fun to learn to use this because I've not had a book type closing device in quite some time unless I purchased a case like that. I had the LG EnV if you remember that. Thank you for this review and I'll be looking forward to seeing other reviews from you.

I neeeed thissss. My LG G6's internal space is so limited I can barely even have the all the apps I want even with an external sd haha. Thnx for this. The capture capability is sure to impress too which is always the #1 seller for me aside from space. How do you feel about its rear cameras for vid/photo vs. the G8 or G8 ThinQ?
@TomasVillegas4 жыл бұрын
The V60 is much better than the G8.
@Errcyco4 жыл бұрын
The cameras are incredible.. your g6 camera is too though. You'll get way better video and shots at night on the v60. Also, its going to not just have more space, but that storage is now faster. your g6 has UFS 2.0 the v60 has an entirely new system altogether in its second iteration.. it's VERY fast. Just do yourself a favor, dont settle on storage! it's so hard to spend that extra money but with video files and even photo files being massive nowadays.. you need all the space you can get. I wont consider a phone with less than 128gb in 2020. It doesnt have to be the fastest just be a minimum of 128. Best of luck! Oh, and the screen is obviously going to be miles nicer. I'd rather have your fingerprint scanner on the g6 tho.

Their should be a full disclaimer in this video that the Dual Screen is only available by the carrier's only. You can't buy it separately on LG.com. If you got the Dual Screen included with a LG V60 purchase on At&t from March to May 31 it was included for the promotion period in which it required a At&t Next Plan and one of 11 unlimited plans. On and after June 1 that the buyer will have to buy it separately if the store doesn't have it. On Verizon you have to get by a mail in offer that takes 4 or more weeks. T-Mobile it is included but again might be a requirement for the Payment plan. US Cellular their is no Dual Screen there is no unlocked version for LG V60. If an AT&T is out of stock it's on sale for $159.99. I bought one. The Dual Screen is what makes The LG V60 best phone for 2020 it will be better than the new Note and even than last years Note. Also V60 has pen support that the LG G8X doesn't have. I have had the LG G8X since November I have no complaints other than it's small at 6.4" it's small and I want bigger I also want it future proofed with 5G. You only got the Dual Screen because LG sent it to you. You didn't disclose which carrier the your LG uses. Also their is no At&t store in my area that has one, so good luck to any one that goes to an At&t store that has one in stock on the day you purchase the LG V60. Giving you the only option to have to buy it on At&t.com

(but i'm holding on to my V10.. one day it will be a collectors item..!! .)... on and off over the years i've had offers from folks who were crazy enough to offer me up to $800 cash for my V10.... because they are hard to find now...and they knew what it could do / has done...from way back in 2015... Hell, LG should do a "remake" of the V10.. call it a ..."V10-Retro"....(like carmakers do..i.e. dodge challenger, charger, etc.)..... and load it up with today's best chipset, a 865+...have a nice 90-120mhz. screen refresh.. ...a 16gb/512gb storage package...have it to look like the old V10.... and it'd sell like no tomorrow........

Does anyone own the V60 and a Dodge Challenger or other Dodge with a uconnect system? I'm wondering if this will sync with Android Auto while it's in the duel screen case. Im wondering if that magnetic connector effects this in anyway. It'll be a pain if you have to constantly take this out of the case to plug in a USB-C

I have the V60 and a 2017 Dodge Caravan. I paired my V60 to my unconnect system with the case on it.

It's a great device. Sad to see LG exit the smartphone making business 😢

But does it get hot like all LG's before it?
@TheNiteNinja192 жыл бұрын
Only time mine throws off a measurable amount of heat, is what I'm playing Genshin impact, with the dual screen case on. And even then it's not intolerably hot, just a little warmer on the camera module.

Wish I could. I don't have the S20.

I will take great battery life over high refresh rate. I have this phone and is a great phone . The only reason LG doesn't get much love is because they don't advertise as aggressive as Samsung or Apple.

I totally agree. Battery is the most important in my opinion.

Did you know Lg made it impossible to change the ringtones on email. Whatever ringtone you choose for texting will also sound off in emails. WTF!!!

I don't think that's an LG thing. That's a Gmail app setting. I guess they removed the option. That is really annoying.
