@@johntookyobish6757 Statistically, the best option was Jaylen if you're purely looking at numbers. Jrue and Al are both over 40%, plus if you let Jaylen drive on you by closing out hard, he's scoring or kicking out to open shooters almost every time. I honestly think it could have paid off big time if it worked, cause Jaylen would've been out of rhythm all game had he not been knocking those down. They stuck with it too long though and it burned them.

@@solar6811 It does make a certain amount of sense, but I think starting the game with it was a mistake. Just try to play straight up for the first quarter when he's fresh, then do this in the third when he gets tired and starts throwing things up without his legs fully in it. This... this was not it.

@@solar6811 the numbers dont show the full story, a considerable amount of jbs threes are off the dribble or contested so its obv his percentage is lower, hes a great three point shooter on open shots slighlty streaky but 9 times out of ten he will make you pay if you run this defense on him

@@jerry-tc2mp He's shooting 28% on wide open (6ft+ space between nearest defender and shooter) this year. It's not crazy, and it also speaks out to how good this team is. Other teams are trying gimmicks as insane as leaving an All NBA scorer wide open on threes.

I keep saying this, but the C's have multiple players who can go off for 15-20 points in a quarter, and so it doesn't have to be the same guy every quarter or every game. It's incredibly hard for another team to defend them well when one guy gets 16 in the first quarter and then a different guy gets 18 in the second quarter, and so on. And the Celtics seem to be remembering this little trick.

His on ball defense has improved dramatically this year it’s actually crazy. I think there’s still a few too many off ball lapses to be considered all defensive but he’s playing the best ball of his career right now it’s awesome to see

Brown has the lowest 3pt percentage of the Celtics's starting five, but it doesn't mean he isn't an excellent shooter 😂😅😂 They are just that good.

I made the comment to point out the reasoning behind Steve Kerr's bold defensive scheme that exploded in their face. I am a fan of JB as much as the next person. You also underrate how good a shooter White and Holiday are . Check the stats immediately before this game. Not sure about the rest of the season. JB clearly elevated his 3PT% after this game 🤣

I was watching this with my side piece and we were getting so hyped during this crazy run! We rarely get to watch games together and that was amazing to watch. Reminded me of 2017 when celtics had a 19-0 run against the warriors. This team is LOADED.

I think that's the problem with playing the Celtics now. Do you give up an easy layup from Tatum or a 3 from one of there many 3 point shooters? Mmmm decisions decisions. Either way the Celtics are scoring easily now. Without Kp also who spreads the floor even more.
