Laura, I tried this salad and it was amazing! I love how the lime compliments the tomato and the avocado! I put some strips of grilled chicken (I like a little meat with my salad) and I loved it! I'm certainly going to make this again! Thanks:)

What a coincidence! I’ve been making this salad every day for months! We never get tired of it - but! It really doesn’t need any dressing at all. Lots of salt and coarse black pepper, of course, and I use sweet onions. But if you just stir it a bit, the avocado spreads itself around and eliminates the need for any added dressing. In any event, it’s absolutely delicious.

Where I live, Ecuador South America, we serve this salad with fried fish and "patacones" which is green plantain fried twice... Something that I'd love to share with you Laura... Now, i have to go get some fish!! Oooh! Yummy!

I recommend Roma tomatoes with the seeds removed. You have a nice combination of crunchy and creamy salad.
