Lots of ethical questions surrounding the morality and structure of capitalism when a game is made for sale and fun that mimics the realities of the homeless living in an approximation of a western nation. Surely this game is either an ignorant product of the society it was made in, or a bitingly brutal exploration of western society's disdain for the homeless, while naturally advocating for socialism and the collapse of capitalism in the process. Is it moral to make this game? Is it moral to play? What does that say about my own perceptions of the homeless? These are the things I ask myself as I sit in my hobo shack, drinking scrounged absinthe and waiting for the scratch ticket store to open.
