Wtf, Dave?! I was born in '92, how the hell did he equate that to 30's and 40's? I'm 28 dammit. And it was scary how on point you were with the young white chicks and horoscope stuff. I like to study a little of everything and used to date someone really knowledgeable about it all (a man, ironically) and there's more to it than I originally thought, it was actually a little dizzying and I wasn't about that kind of commitment. It's pretty cool but I think it's a way to explain a world before science. Tomato is right about the generalizations and that's because people mostly read them from a newspaper and of course it's going to be a generalization when a gigantic amount of people read it per day. A trusted reading by the right person though, and it might be a little more specific if you're not being scammed. Either way, cold reading is easy for these people. Speaking of, what's worse is the fake psychics all over the place. My mom basically forced me to get a reading from one and they were so far off the mark because I didn't give her shit to work with. She tried to get hints from my facial expressions, movements, vague guesses, and I gave her absolutely nothing except yes or no answers. Needless to say, she was ready to get me out of there much faster than my mother, whom she talked with for half an hour as I waited outside smoking a cigarette and wondering why I wasted my money.
