That cake has peaked my interest I am going to have to try it. I worked with the amish and they brought it too the job I was afraid to try it now I wish I would've now stay safe and warm God Bless brother

When I first heard of it I was curious and skeptical. If that makes some sense. Man, I sure am glad I tried it though. It's very good! The closest I can compare it to is a spice cake. It's very similar. Ya gotta try it Scott. It's really good! Thanks for stopping by camp kitchen!

It's a good cake. I was very curious about it when I first read about it. Felt like I had to try it. Really, it's very similar to a spice cake in taste. A good bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese woulda been good today. Cold, gray and gloomy here. I bet that's why...... it was the weather 😉😉

An absolute classic!! My grandmother and my mom would make a tomato soup cake quite often. One would never know it had tomato soup in it, especially with the spices and nuts and raisins that would get added too. If someone is skeptical, give it a try...I don't think you will believe the results. The last time I made one I even put a cream cheese frosting on top. Now that was something else!! It was pretty good! Truthfully, it was the name and content that made me so curious about it. Really glad I did try it though. I don't make a lot of desserts, but will add this to the list of "Make Again". Thanks Cathy!

It's a pretty good cake. I really like it. Honestly, you do not taste the soup much at all. I have another, I want to make, probably in the spring using salsa. That one too has my curiousity. I'd be willing to try a v8 or bloody mary mix in one. Thanks Chris! Gears are turning......

@@karlo8093 you could go really crazy! Hot Sauce! Ya know, the really good stuff! Frank's of course!😉👍🏻😎🔥 Which brings up another idea/ recipe I've seen. Sauerkraut! And of course, Frank's Sauerkraut. Kraut is to make it very moist. I think Frank's has it on its website. I'll find it and send it to ya.

No, not at all. I thought it would've too, but it didn't. Taste pretty much like a spice cake. Was really good!
