Not just every chef, but everyone in the world who has made a soup needs to hear your take on salt screamed from the highest mountains! Salt isn't good for you, I have a disability that means I need a lower sodium diet........... and you've made the greatest realization. Veggies do absorb salt, especially potatoes. Great idea, great advice, just let everyone add it at the end to their taste and needs! Zarna, you're also being a dietitian without even trying!

Please more recipes. You don't have to give us exact amounts, but please show more of what you are doing so we can estimate for ourselves. A lot of people who watch you aren't familiar with these flavors. I'm a confident cook, but this recipe is completely different than my usual approach, and it's pretty much guesswork. I'm going to try to reproduce it anyway since it looks delicious. Very funny, tho :)

In India we make it with 100% “real” tomatoes. U add carrots and onion for taste. I use cumin and add ghee tadka to it. No canned or artificial paste needed. It tastes so good. Actually I have prepared one right now for lunch. Btw I got gram fresh tomatoes 2kg for ₹40. Staying back in India was the best decision I guess.
