This is a great video. I am getting some really good info on various tomato varieties, and am happy that you do not sugar-coat the downside of any variety. Some of the varieties seem to be worth the pain in the end though. Incredible yield is all I can say. Thanks for these vids - well done.

I can't believe you guys are not munching on those beautiful tomatoes, as you stroll around filming. I am pretty sure the lady wants to try some - maybe the guy is just tomatoed-out. I know I got a bit blase this last summer when I had a bumper crop. And then suddenly, they were gone with the first frost..... Man did miss my tomatoes. Was my first good crop. Roll on summer. I am going to be using your advice to try to get another wonderful harvest! Thanks for sharing.

Love learning about all these varieties. I've grown Juliet for years for productivity and great flavor, but I find it must be very red and ripe to have the best flavor. I found it makes the best tomato, cucumber and onion salad. You add some apple cider vinegar, salt and sugar. Needs a firmer tomato.

I highly recommend everyone try the Czech variety 'Stupice', of all the varieties I've grown it is by far the longest producer being the first and last to stop producing, being both cold and heat tolerant, with heavy, dependable yields of delicious 1-2 oz tomatoes, it has earned a permanent spot in my garden

You can't grow heirloom tomatoes (like Black Cherry) in the same way as genetically modified tomatoes. The fact that your Black Cherry tomatoes are splitting is not the fault of the tomato, it's because you're not irrigating it properly. I did not have ONE split Black Cherry tomato last year - but that's because I only grow heirloom tomatoes, and give them the kind of care that they need. Sure, it involves more effort, but their taste makes it absolutely worth it.
