From where I grew up, I’ve known only taro, breadfruits, mountain apples, star apples, lime, lemon, mangoes. Because that’s what my grandparents grew in our own backyard. The most popular one they like was the breadfruit, there’s a lot of different ways to cook it. Ferment it,cook it, fry it and pound it. Even when they pound it, they had ways how to mix it… sooo amazing and I’m ashamed I don’t even know how to prepare it like that. So I’m watching your videos and I’m really in awe of your talent. I grew up away from my own island… so I’ve lost the way😢.

You know in Mexico we have a huge varieties of tomatoes even the word tomato comes from the ancient Aztec word tomatl that means fruit , red ones in all shapes and sizes, green tomatillos, purple, brown , yellow, in combination with Chillis, onion and garlic is base of many Mexicans recipes.
