Got familiar with Geetanjali Shree ji through popular "हंस" magzine .My mother used to tell that Maxim Gorky and Lu Xun are the Premchand of Russia and China resp.Could read the translated version of their novels thanks to "हंस" years ago.. .It's a happy news that Hindi literature is being well recognised around the world though through translation.We must encourage ourselves and others to learn multiple languages to be able to enjoy the original literature & to be able to translate it for others. Nice review by you...

ये कहानी है .......बहुत खूबसूरत कहानी -कथन| लेकिन आपने शिव पर जो लिखा गया है उसका ज़िक्र नहीं किया है ,वो पंक्तियाँ कहीं से भी प्रासंगिक नहीं हैं।

बहुत सुन्दर समीक्षा की है आपने आदरणीय…पर पृष्ठ संख्या २२२ के चौथे पैराग्राफ़ में हिन्दुओं के आराध्य शिव और पार्वती के बारे में जो लिखा है वह बहुत निराशाजनक ,आपत्तिजनक ,अश्लील और बिल्कुल अनावश्यक लगा मुझे… क्या आप उस पर प्रकाश डाल सकते हैं…बुकर प्राइज़ प्राप्त पुस्तक में ऐसी टिप्पणी से मन बहुत खिन्न हुआ है…
