I haven't managed to get to the third gate before it shuts. So annoying LOL. I realise the timer starts as soon as you hit the first pad

Its a nightmare that bit. That's the reason I looked up this video as I'm currently attempting it. It doesn't help when my save menu keeps popping up for no reason whatsoever (I'm not touching anything I shouldn't),and the bloody camera of course.

It just takes practice and eventually you'll get it. If you been playing these as long as we have then it comes naturally.

The tile in front of the pillar at 8:46 is the trigger. As I stand there I hear the door open.

With practice I'm sure you can do it too. The trick is to press the jump key before falling off a corner.
