I couldn't agree with you more! Most of nowadays "famous" action actresses are lame and not convincing enough. Angie was the best in this specific movie. I can't express it enough how much I love her as Lara Croft. Such a role model for independent women and strong individuals.

3 facts about Angelina in this movie is that 1.they had a hard time convincing her to take this role at first (she rejected right away) until they told her all the adventures and travels that she'll do. 2. her father in this movie is her dad in real life whom she kind of hate for personal reasons and in this movie that they found the real reconciliation that they kind of both needs in real life (according to her in an interview). 3. this movie introduced her in charitable work (not literally introduced her but just become the bridge's she needs to be more involved in charitable acts for children) and basically i think that this movie become the turning point of her to live a better life and lifestyle...overcoming her troubles in real life and be more grateful. in one of her interview she said that when she saw the orphan kids (when she attended of the world's well known charity for kids) she saw the real struggle of the orphan kids. no parents and no home..abandoned worst than her complain in life so then she told herself that she will never ever again complain about her own struggles in life...from then, a new Angelina was born.

most of the time i feel video game characters are designed after pure fantasy, but Lara Croft looks to be designed after Angelina Jolie. she really looks just like her. i used to play the games on my PSOne and when the movie came out i was confused. i was all..
