20:34 I had this moment when I finished TR3 with "only" 95 crystals. I knew EXACTLY which one I missed and the whole game I was hoping it doesn't count. It was the 7th crystal in River Ganges. It IS possible to get it, I just didn't know at the time. And it's rather hard. I couldn't be bothered to do the whole game again, though. Luckily, after the first patch I reloaded Meteorite Cavern and the trophy popped up. Good on you you persevered. :D

I also finished the game with 95 crystals, and i think that is all on the main story. 2 levels have separate path, i guess that's why the achievement is for 93 crystals. Using the kayak glitch going back to the start, was the hardest

8:24 Funnily enough that trophy reminded me of how when I was a child, I always finished the Tibetan Foothills without the snow mobile because I thought it was too difficult to navigate, so this trophy was easy peasy for me, lol. Though, now that I use the vehicle, it does make the level not only easier but significantly shorter.

Holy hell, so many of those trophies sound like a nightmare for someone like me to get, but I think that Let's Dance trophy is one of the worst. I find it so stressful and tense playing Home Sweet Home *normally*, let alone getting every enemy killed in the ballroom! Kudos to you for managing that, and all the other insane trophies too!

I would guess that ax is playing the ps4 version on a ps5. The ps5 versions don’t have the platinum trophy’s due to a Sony policy that won’t allow platinums for multiple games that run off a single launcher. This policy does not affect ps4 versions though. Personally I just still played the ps5 version but obviously not going for a plat because I would basically have to redo everything on the ps4 version

Awesome vid and great job on the platinum! To save a little bit of blood pressure for anyone else wanting to go for platinum (and I do mean 'a little' as NG+ is haaaaaaaaaaaard!), the flamethrower achievement tracks so you can save before being ignited and dousing yourself, then reload, and the counter will still go up. You can't savescum the ballroom trophy, but you don't need to worry if the music stops playing. As long as you have pressed the button before killing the first enemy then you're good. Looking forward to seeing your TR3 platinum!

I could feel your pain when you made that mistake regarding the guns on the snowmobile during your No Pistols run on NG+. But I'm very happy that you had a save file right before the level and didn't have to start over from the beginning! There are so many trophies in this game that seem very tedious at best, to torturous at worst, in a game that's already very difficult on its own. The one where Lara has to catch on fire a number of times made me want to cry just looking at it. I'm glad that you were able to get all the trophies without the game glitching out on you!! Congrats on the platinum trophy, you've earned it and then some :D Looking forward to your TR3 run! It's my favorite game in the trilogy, so I'm looking forward to seeing how you tackle it (and also seeing what sort of bullshit trophies that game has in store for you). I also did the mistake of doing pistols only and new game+ in TR1, for TR2 and 3, my strategy was the same . First run for pistols only + all secrets + all items + all other achievements with a save on every level in case I missed an achievement and needed replaying a section (or if some of them were mutually exclusive), and then second run with NG+ with speedrun only. That made the game much more fun to play, TR2 NG+ made me go for 15 secrets just to get the medipacks, and I used most of them.

Will you also do the expansions for each game? I’m currently doing everything on Steam so I have to do it all. Doing TR1 now and my first ever play through, no medpack, pistols only and collect everything. It’s challenging, but I’ve managed to do it without a guide so far, which is cool and shows it’s a fair challenge. The worst part is absolutely Atlantis so far. No healing killing with pistols the Atlantean guardians sucks. At least until you realize you can run them in circles with modern controls. Fantastic ambience and game.

Oh yeah, Atlantis with no Medi-Packs is brutal! The worst thing about those Atlanteans is how frenetic their attacks are. It's really, really difficult to guard yourself from them, especially in a level like Atlantis, where you always have to fight them in rooms that are either claustrophobic, or where you can easily fall down. Well done though!

I thought there was a no medipack trophy in TR II just as in TR I so I completed the first run without any medipacks. It's brutal. The drop in The Deck, the annoying enemy placement in Floating Islands, and the barrage of enemies in Dragon's Lair were especially frustrating. Just like you, I was baffled when the "Very Hard Boiled" trophy did not pop up for exactly the same reason! Damn those snowmobiles!

Bit late for you now, but Fire Safety doesn't all have to be in a single playthrough. Each flamer enemy type gets ticked in the background once you've been set light to and put it out, so it can be gamed somewhat by saving just before you know where one of the enemies are, get them to burn you and put it out, and then reload, thus saving on medipacks.

Yeah, see that's the thing, it's not always clear how trophies are tracked. I assumed I had to do it between saves for it to register.

I finally got all the trophies in TR1 and TR2, too🥳 I must say you made it incredibly hard and brutal for yourself - you really love to torture yourself, don't you? 😂 I had the most trouble getting the "Silk Cave" trophy, because I didn't realise you mustn't be bitten by ANY spider in the level and kill all of them, too. The funniest moment was when I got the "Ready to Ride" trophy in 1:19.9😂 Overall it was exciting and I am looking forward to getting TR3 trophies, although as I looked at them, they seem brutal (I've already got a few basic ones in my fist playthrough, so now I'll get the more obscure ones, I hope😅)

Congratulations!!! 🥳 Whoa, really!? Do you need to avoid spiders in the entire level? I'm pretty sure the trophy only states in the cave. I guess I got lucky then, because I was far less careful about all the other spiders. I've done Tomb Raider III, and it definitely had the hardest New Game+ mode, so you are hereby warned 😅 Good luck though, and enjoy!

@@AxMania yeah, I was attacked and bitten by spider in the alcove above the lava pit and the silver dragon, then went through the cave without a scratch and didn't got the trophy. I did a little research and apparently the trophy description is a bit misleading - it's hard to say if it's a bug or an intention - but it seems all spider damage gotten in the level counts against you 😭

Relating to the "No Unnescessary Moves" Trophy, the conventional way to get the gold dragon is jumping and climbing up where there is a flaw panel.

Nice work bro 👍. Good luck with TR3 you will need it trust me. TR3's NG+ is more brutal than 2's. I tried playing pistols only on NG+ in 3. I could't do it . I stuck at puna it takes forever to kill him with pistols and then these stupid green lizard things spawn left and right who poison you and I had only one save crystal to heal and save my game.
