lara croft returns in this review of tomb raider trilogy remastered we look take a look visuals, gameplay, sound, and story of these iconic and legendary games. they have been remade with stunning new graphics while maintaining what made the original releases so great This is Must Play Reviews and thanks For watching.
so in the review i mention the problem i had with the modern control some people have left comments on how to perform the jump back and i just completely missed it so thank you for the info and please check the comments section for more info.

tomb raider did receive a patch that fixed some of the issues i talked about i posted a link in description to the patch notes

exactly its not hard to do. i want legend of dragoon redone without changing it keep the static backgrounds and upgradee them like resident evil did on gamecube and push the limits of visuals it would be incredible look at how good resident evil from GameCube still looks

Press the look button, pull back on the control stick, press the look button to get out of it and Lara will jump back.

There's an easier way than that though. Just draw your pistols, then tap the back button and Lara will hop back.

The latest patch solved some of the most critical launch issues (such as invisible key items). It's still not perfect but it's much better than it was at launch

They remastered graphics are absolutely beautiful and feels great to be able to play the older games stories (Since wasnt alive during the PS1 days) Did find a few issues: The camera is absolutely terrible in some parts especially up close Some areas in the remasters are that dark sometimes find it easier switching to the older graphics And some things you have to switch to tank controls to to (Such as crawling)

yep the camera was never great but at that time it was better than most the crawling thing was a pain that's why i just played in classic controls. but i did find earlier when trying out some of the suggestions in the comments that i think if you hold the walk button then the action she will flip over the ledge. i thought i had that in the video but i forgot to put it in

All the footage isn’t even from the update that even furthers the graphical fidelity and most importantly FIXES Modern Control CONSIDERABLE! It’s so smooth like butter. Any impossible item picks are now fixed. Any keys that are So small and blend into the background have been fixed. If you saw a painting in some water. That’s been fixed. Just so much. It’s only gotten better. You will know you have the update if the Action Icon for item pick ups or switches is Lara’s Hand and NOT an exclamation! Also the All Hallows’ level in TR3 is now unlockable thanks to this update! So. 100% retry modern controls everyone and go collect some secrets!

True good looking out for others wanting to get it but if someone doesn't have Internet some of the things I talk about will still be valid. What I might start doing is in the description put what patch was available at the time I recorded the footage in case they get the issues fixed after I had finished the vid. Luckily with RoboCop I wasnt quite done and was able to fix the part in it that was broken before they patched it.

Brother, your scripts are excellent. I think you have the makings of a banger KZbin channel. I think a pro mic and some refinement and you will skyrocket dude.

Thank you I did just get a new mic it sounds a lot better it's still not high end. Got lucky though it was on sale normally a 100 got it for 50 it sounds great check out my ps plus video I just did and see how it sounds

Really good review. I agreed with everything except that it is still possible to hop backwards for a running jump. Just draw Lara's pistols and tap the back button. She'll then hop backwards.

i completely missed that i knew she would while shooting but not if you just tapped back thanks for posting for other people that might have missed this i wish youtube had a way for me to put in a spot in the video to mention it.

the thing is, it takes longer and more work to create what we had now, remaking TR was easier...they just wanted to make something new for the modern gamers...

In some ways That's true but not really a lot of the long development times and difficulties they have now are brought on by too much ambition you could make 36o and ps3 era games right now with smaller budgets and file sizes and the would look and run better. Less pop in better frame rates and better design because the limits they push with graphics are taking away from time to implement and experiment with gameplay. I'm working on a video going over a lot of this stuff . Because some of those back compat games on series x look way better than modern releases they have no jaggies no taa ghosting and run at 4k 60 locked

My footage was recorded before the patch I'm going to start putting in the video in a lower third than says what patch version of the game I was on. And try to keep links in the description to the new patch notes

I've just downloaded them, and are part way through TR1. First impression is that the graphics and game play are true reflections of the original, and excellent update. My only gripe is that combat seems much easier, the pistols seem much more damaging than I recall. As an example, taking down the T-Rex in the Lost Valley only took a 3 or 4 bursts of gunfire while I can remember it taking much longer than that.

I thought the same with how many bullets it took the Trex went down pretty easy but it's been so long in not sure

Played 1 and 2. They look amazing, even better following the update. And they have not changed anything gameplay wise other than add life bars to bosses. 😊

@@TheGamesEmporium The life bar appears too early for me. I've found myself drawing my guns, moving into a good fighting position and so on before the boss creature comes into view. I'd prefer that it was hidden until you hit it least once.
