Both my sons from the 1st marriage weren’t interested in bikes. Me 2nd wife’s daughter secretly got interested after her girlfriends rode off into the sunset during lockdown that she decided to take her full bike test. After that she bought a 2011 Honda Cbr600f which back then were made in Italy. Nobody expected or thought she would become a motorcyclist and I got pleasantly surprised. Been riding all my life, thanks for taking us through your land, Big hugs from Düsseldorf Sher 😎

I grew up in Western Canada and got my m/c license at age 14 back in 1969. I was bike crazy and motorcycles have been a major part of my life right up until the present. So many pleasant memories and your vlog triggered many of them. We never saw any Jawas in my neck of the woods back then but I fondly remember the Suzuki 250 Hustler and 500 Titan 2 stroke twins. They were fast machines in their day. As the smell of 2 stroke oil in the morning! 🇨🇦

hello from Slovakia, but born in Czechoslovakia. From my childhood memories from 80s I just remember these two stroke motorcycles: Jawa-s or CZs, there were no other bikes, so this special twostroke engine sound (and smell as well) is tightly bound with motorcycles in my mind. I like those stright flat roads in your country, we have winding roads with lot of curves and switchbacks with up and downhills everyhwere so I have to ride much more carefuly

I'm glad you found yourself. Your enthusiasm spills out of your videos - greatly appreciated. My father also rode motorcycles - during the Second World War he was a Canadian sergeant unloading ships in England. He took a Harley and rode it for 18 months. When it was worn out he "found" it and turned it back to the Americans. I owned many bikes - now my balance is gone & I have to experience them through you & others descriptions of the joy of riding. Thnx & carry on!

Wonderful, open and sincere story..., but of course we have heard many small pieces about you before, but now it's all in the right order! It was probably because of the Harley Davidson that I came here, but it is because of YOU that I stayed. I love the way you present your love of all things motorcycle, in your own special bouncy way, and with your very special kind of humour, that always gets at least a big smile, but often a loud laugh from me. Please stay as you are..., carry on being you and please look after yourself..., your health is always the Number One part of all you do, and is critical for the future of this Unique channel that you have built for us and yourself.... Thanks Deimante for all so far and all that is still to come.....

Hi all, nice video again, thanks a lot :) ČZ 350 was intended only to be exported especialy to former USSR, it has never been sold in Czechoslovakia (officially), they say CZ 350 used to be the best ever produced motorcycle in Czech. Just a fun fact - ČZ is an abbreviation of Československá Zbrojovka (which means Czechoslovak Armory) - company from Strakonice which not only produced motorcycles but mainly guns.

My first bike was a 1965 (bought in November of 1964) Suzuki Hillbilly 2 stroke ring dinger. I had to bungee a quart of oil to the rear rack so that I had it available every time I filled the fuel tank. I had to pour the oil from the can into a sealable bottle so that the oil wouldn't leak all over.

Wow! So cool! I started when we lived in Riga and started on Riga 50 and old MiniMokick (sp?). Then we moved on to Jawa 250 the old round one and then my best friend got a Jawa 350 and we used to sneak them into the Bikernieki race track and run them there. Was so much fun back in 1989-1992 time frame. We had a couple of friends with Chezets and parts were definitely interchangeable.

That took me back. My dad had motorcycles when he was young, but did the usual and gave it up when I was born. Then when I was 9 he bought a motorcycle to get to and from work, a CZ 250. I thought he was the coolest dad, he had a motorcycle and none of my friends' dads did. Sadly he sold it a couple of years later, he'd had enough of riding in the depths of winter, so I never got to do anything more than sit on the back. Years later when I bought my first motorcycle we swapped roles, I took him for a ride and he sat on the back making whooping noises.

I really like how you explained the bit about who you are as a person and how that was a mismatch of “societal norms.” Hopefully with time society will evolve to accept everyone for who they are and not what others expect them to be. My philosophy is life is made up of experiences and the people you bring along with you, and meet along the way. What a great way that you have chosen to travel along the path of your life, uniquely your own. . . Cheers from California.

I could never kick the eastern european bikes with a left kickstart. I had to stand alongside and use my right foot. Mainly MZ's Apart from the CZ kickstart also being the gear lever did it not also act as a clutch if required? They were quite heavy bikes being solidly built and the stands were not great but the usual method was to actually put your full weight downwards on the stand lever and at the same time lift the bike vertically. Not sure if it was possible on the CZ but I noticed you struggling by pulling it backwards? I never had one so ignore that advice if it doesn't work.
