Hey guys! Another episode from our Atlanta series for y'all ;) This time we've met up with Forest AKA Tomcat to tear up the local mountain roads in his modified Honda S2000 AP2! It's a great build that's definitely seen some hard driving, as it should. With Road Atlanta just around the corner, and an unlimited amount of dense mountains to get lost in, this S2000 has been born a warrior from the get-go. Enjoy!

What are you stroking the motor to? Won't you lose rpm as a trade off in torque/power?

@@ayowser01 Just under 2.4 liters. And we're running a stock top end on top of the stroked bottom end so the entire goal is midrange.

I've owned my S2K (AP1 for over a decade) The S2K is perfect from factory. Yeah you can tune and tweak here and there but as a car from the factory in the 90'/early 2000's, you can't really talk down on it as a Production car. Shigeru Uehara created a masterpiece. “Please take good care of your S2000, keep it by your side for long and enjoy it from the bottom of your heart. I love me a good S2000. Such a clean car, it's got the power, the handling, and the pure drivers car feel. I like the fact that neither you nor the owner cleaned up the car. Shows that it's constantly being used and it's put through the ropes, the way it should be!

Another thing......I noticed right away how twisty the backroads of Lawrenceville and winder ga were. Freakin awesome roads out there. Just not a lot of elevation and not a lot of visibility due to the thick foliage.

In my opinion , the s2000 is the only Honda with a unique exhaust sound in comparison to all other N/A 4 bangers that honda has produced ranging from the d15 to the k24. Theres no other sound like it.

AEM Infinity, compliance bushings have been replaced with solid units from Kingpin Machine, and Ohlins Road&Track coilovers.

I have a gutted 405whp D16 series eg on full race aluminum suspension setup that would turn faster than 99.9% Hondas lighter front engine and big torque knifed fully built on using pump gas that would put this s2000 to shame on 225 NT01. And also drift a slower 370z. I have a fast Honda and guess what, theres way faster out there. Quit trying with Honda's when you can actually be faster. I drive plenty of track cars. Sorry the truth comes out when you think the s2000 can beat a modded z06 let alone an modded acr. No excuses.
