Thank you ! Finding TAB for Lipstick would be hard these days ! Brings back great memories.

Circa 1950s George Barnes played this awesome riff with Connie Francis. Back then it was considered one of the best guitar riffs with others by James Burton. Excellent guitar works.

IN HIS BOOK CLAPTON SAID THE GUITAR WORK ON THIS SONG CONVINCED HIM THAT LEAD GUITAR WAS HIS FUTURE!!!!!!!!WHEN I READ THAT I REMEMBER IMMEDIATELY CALLING CF [ BECAUSE TWO OF MY MUSIC LEGENDS WERE NOW LINKED BY THIS SONG!] WHO AGREED THAT IT WAS THE BEST GUITAR SOLO ON ANY OF HER HITS! GREAT SOLO, GREAT TRANSCRIPTION, THANKS AGAIN

Thank you! So many great songs in the history of popular music. I hope kids today are checking out all the old stuff as well as the new. I'm 54, so this song was before my time, but I still listened to all the "oldies" as well. What killer guitar playing.

Absolutely brilliant! George Barnes played the original if I am not mistaken. I always thought it was so so good. I just wish I could be that fast. The other good one from that period was James Burton in Hello Mary Lou by Ricki Nelson.

Your arrangements are always so cool...and just nail the song !! I have learned a lot from you and I have been playing constantly for 57 years ! I started when I was 16 playing Ventures tunes with drop the needle approach ! Thanks so much for the inspiration to keep on pickin' and learnin' !

Such a great job sir! Your playing is precise, clear, excellent, as are your tabs. I learned Walk Don't Run on a Jazzmaster when I was 13 in 1960 under the covers of my bed at night. Always loved the solos in tunes like this, Ricky Nelson's hits, most rockabilly but never could figure it out until now with lotsa help from you. Thanks for what you do. This old man is feeling like a rockin teen again.

Great video. Songs like this are excellent technique practice in timing and control. For myself personally, to get it right the trick is to feel where the upbeat is. I don't know if that makes sense but it sure works for me.

That my friend is fabulous! I remeber its appearance but no credit was given to the player. It was one of the best ever. What guitar is that? Its only partly bvisible and I should know. It reminds me of the Vox model. Tremelo design is specialised (not Fender, not Bigsby..... Mmmm! Anyway very tasty playing Mr Mystery.

Nice, but really that solo is tricky enough without having to go into back the verse! Listening to the original I had an inkling it sounded like George Barnes and lo and behold it was - 'Spooky' would be another good one to do and not actually that difficult apart from one descending run.
