Seriously, it's amazing because I saw Ed perform in Philadelphia in 2012 and it was just so niche at the time that fireworks went off in the middle of show (it was outside at Penn's Landing) and Ed just kept going on. Me and my best friend at the time loved it so much that's kept us close even as we moved hours away. And the distance between my and all of my friends doesn't seem as significant when all of my close friends love the songs as much as I do, Galway Girl just meant so much

I've never been on your channel before today but this video was in my recommandation and i'm a simple person... I see Ed'Sheeran's name, I click ! I've never seen someone enjoying Ed's music as much as I do. it's really nice to see the same emotions than mine, into someone else... So here is my " *DEAR ED SHEERAN* " : You've changed so many lives though your music, much more than you could ever imagine. I remember when your divide album came out, almost 2 years ago, i was so so so busy, i worked so much (1st year in med school) and put so much pressure on myself, didn't even take much time to sleep... but then your album came out and changed everything for me... I saw the album on youtube, drove back home immediatly and spend all the evening listening to those beautiful songs... I even stayed up half of the night, listening to your album ! Had to wake up 3 hours later to get back to work but it was worth it... suddently things were not as hard as they used to be... It was not the music itself that changed me (even tho it's a masterpiece) but it was taking time for myself, allow myself some time off because i was so excited, for the first time in a very long time. In my mind, that year used to be a long tunnel with no end. But those hours listening to your music without thinking about anything else, made me realise that it was just a tough period to pass, and i could do it. I just had to take care of myself better. It was just the moment of realisation. Since that day, every single day i listen to your music, I'll never get tired of it. Sometimes, i work for 12 hours in a day and listen to the same song all over again (mostly 'Perfect' or 'happier' , those are great music to stay focus while working) I also had the chance to go to one of your concert in Paris last year, you are definitly the best artist on this planet. (I'm so sad that I cannot go to your concert in May 2019, it was sold out 2h after the tickets were on sale, I didnt have time to book mine :'( )

No one cares, but here's my thank you note to Ed: It's 2013, I'm 9 years old and at the premiere of "the desolation of smaug" premiere here in Denmark. Through the entire event "I see fire" played and after the movie ended I went home and googled it. And I had it on repeat for 2 months straight, on KZbin because I didn't have a spotify account. March 2014 rolls around, and I get + on CD, and a spotify account, and after hours and hours of listening to it I just broke down. I cried the entire night of my birthday because I had finally found someone who voiced what I thought, though 10 year olds don't think much, Ed was the one to really understand what I was going through. June comes around, and X is released. I remember sitting on my bed in my family's cabin and just staring into the wall with tears in my eyes. The songs on that album, was and is still to this day, the songs I find myself going back to when everything else fails. For Christmas 2014 I get X on CD which probably was when I really realised how much he meant to me. I remember taking out the flyer thingy and flipping through it. Reading the words I had heard for so long had an even bigger impact on me, because suddenly they weren't just music, but pieces of poetry and stories I could read over and over again. And I did, I read and I read and I read, all of the 16 songs on X, over and over again. They're probably burned on the back of my eyes tbh. 2015 and 2016 was the worst years of my life. My mental health spiraled out of control, my grandma died and my family fell apart, at least for me. Ed's words were the only medicine for my noisy mind. I had nights where all I could was lie curled up on my bed, crying with Ed's music playing. When I was the most unsure of myself he was there to comfort me. When everything seemed hopeless, pointless and just dark, he was the one saving me from that darkness. He gave me friends when all my friends turned their back on me. I made so many new friends through his music and those are the friends I'll forever keep close by, because they understand me in a way no one else does. When I look back at those years, nearly all my happy memories were linked with his music in some way. 2017. The happiest and weirdest year of my life so far. January comes and Ed comes back with new music. And tour dates. I made it my mission to get to one of his concerts, I'd do anything for it. And it happened. I got tickets to see Ed on the 1st of April, in Herning, Denmark. Me and my best friend saw him together and hearing the words I've relied on the past 3 years of my life, live was magical. The best day of my life without a doubt. I cried and screamed so much that my voice was gone for 2 days afterwards. oops. In the meantime, ÷ is released and I faked being sick, just so that I could listen to it. Ed once again blew me away. Fun songs, meaningful songs, sorrowful songs, love songs. That album became the soundtrack to the happiest summer of my life. All I remember when I listen to that album is pure happiness and laughter from my friends. 2018 was a somewhat quiet year from Ed, but that didn't stop me from making memories connected to his music. While other artists dominated my music year, his music was always on in the background in some way. In 2019 I'll see him again. This time in Odense, Denmark on the 27th of July. And this time I'll face my anxiety and be front barrier with a group of my best friends and I'll be there to thank the man that saved my life. The man who shaped my life and who's been apart of it since I was 9 years old. To the people bullying me for loving a ginger englishman, making music ahead of his time that you were all too snobbish to catch on with, catch me screaming my lungs out to "you need me I don't need you" because that's for you. Thank you Ed for making me believe something was worth living for and that something was worth fighting for. I wouldn't be here without you.

I can totally understand you! Because of one of his songs I won a trip to the end of the world to his last concert form x. It was my first flight. It was my first time that I wasnt in europe. I was a shy girl that had a hard time at school. I thought it is normal to do the same things every day.... Always stuck in ecery day life. But because of this trip..... My life changed forever. I found out how beautiful the world can be and how it is to travel and collect special memories. Since then, I became a open minded and corious girl. The first song I heard of Ed Sheehan was “Thinking Out Loud” on the radio and instantaneously I was HOOKED. I went to iTunes to download it, suffice to say I ended up spending around $45 on Ed Sheeran songs simply because I loved how beautiful the lyrics were and how nostalgic his songs made me feel. I just got to see Ed Sheeran live in Tampa and without a single doubt, he is by far the most surreal and amazing musician that has ever walked the face of this earth. He truly is a gift from God.

I remember the first time I heard Ed Sheeran as well. It was A Team, a rainy day and a long car ride. It came on and every hair on my body stood on end and I cried. I got a little bit emotional. Two years, what a journey! Remember i came across your channel by chance and immediately liked it. Didn't know what that was, but there was something special about you. I subscribed to your chanel even though i do it very rarely.
