Reviewing Your INSANE Football Manager 2024 Saves

I'm the lad who did the Montenegro save and yes I did pretty much play it throughout BUT it was mainly a DOF save. Once I was happy with the tactic (which is not my strong point) and I had an amazing assistant manager, I would let him do the matches. Out of the 130 odd seasons, I would say I managed the matches in about 15 of them. I include the CL games with this. That's why we've probably not as won many CL's as we should've done. It was more satisfying seeing other Mont teams do it. Great save though and I was so happy when we got to number 1....I probably should've stopped it there. One thing to mention too, you may think it's odd I've won ZERO Montenegrin cups...it's cos I was sick of the fixture congestion it brings so I deliberately lost every game haha.

It didn't use to be that bad too, on fm20 I could sell good players from Fenerbahçe for 60-70 million Euros without increasing the league reputation much, but since fm23, if the league reputation is not top 5 I can only sell for around 20-25 million, which funnily that just jumps to 100+ million as soon as the league gets top 5

That Hereford tactic I’ve used something similar when I was experimenting with tactics that didn’t heavily focus on the wings. Essentially it relies on a team with very good passing and positioning and it’s really good at countering wide 4-2-3-1s or 4-3-3s which most AI teams seem to use. Your players simply have loads of options to pass to in the centre and you can cause the opponents wingers to be dragged out of position for your own wing backs to become sneaky options to pass to and gain a lot of ground before they cross in.

Hi Tom, wanted to tell you about a couple of amazing saves I did, first one I took over Monaco in 24/25 led them to second place on 91 points 2 points off PSG and lifted the french cup in my first season, second season won the league losing once all season, doing the double over PSG,, won the French Cup and Champions League beating Chelsea in the final on penalties. Third season won the league winning all 34 league games, won the french cup and the champions league beating Chelsea in the final. Left Monaco for Dortmund led them to the Bundesliga title in first season after taking half my monaco squad to dortmund and were knocked out of the champions league in the quarter finals on penalties by Liverpool. Went unbeaten with Monaco from November 2025 to May 2027 in the league The Other save was with Derby County starting in League One led them to the league title on 112 points after being 4 points off top beginning of January, went on a run then of playing 1st and 3rd back to back winning both then beating Stevenage to go top before steamrolling to the title. second season led them to the Championship title on 103 points after being 4th with 7 games to go and like 7 points off Automatics, also led them to the FA Cup that season coming from 2:0 down to beat Arsenal 3:2 in the final, my top scorer got 46 championship goals alone

The Number of Teams in Europe of a nation actually do not impact how many points you can gain in the Coefficient-ranking, because the points, that the teams collect are divided by the number of teams from the nation, taking part in UEFA-competitions in that season.

I used the editor in my save for a single purpose, to bring in a bunch of my favorite players from prior FM games into my world as teenage wonderkids, with the restriction that I am not allowed to sign any of them.
