Hi there Tom, you do such a great job with these videos. It's hard enough to take work-in-progress pictures when I build my kits but you are able to make a full stop motion/timelapse movie from beginning to end (not to mention the post production involved in the final video). All of them are just fascinating to watch and everytime, I try to analyze your thought process. i.e. which assembly to build and paint and shoot the video (you probably even have a storyboard for the scenes). It blows my mind how you are able to be so prolific in making both kits and videos while I can hardly finish a couple of models in a year. Maybe you should do a behind the scenes? Then there will be a flood of these types of videos. You know the saying, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. You should take comfort that you are the original. Just like how some video special effects are now labelled "Ken Burns" maybe you'll see modelling videos that are "Tom Grigat" style. Keep up the good job and know that there will be a lot of us that enjoy your work. -Joseph

Ah Ha!!! I have cracked the case of the mysterious powers of manipulation by this wizard of the modeling world. I was fine-tuning the electronics on my mid-infrared goggles (don't ask what I employ them to do) when I just happened to look down at my computer screen tuned to this very video and lo and behold I saw several elves who had previously been employed at Santa's North Pole workshop and they were assembling the teeny-tiny components!! I was stunned and also relieved that our intrepid modeling genius must also have some assistance in creating these wonderful airplanes and videos. Thanks for the helping hand, Elves. Cheers.

I saw a Hawker Sea Fury at an airshow once - it had Australian markings. What a beast of a plane - I think it had a 5-blade propeller and the engine spun "in reverse" of almost all other piston-driven aircraft. It had amazing power. Beautiful aircraft.

The Tempest, an amazing, under-rated fighter/ attack aircraft... the Mk2 was due out soon, wouldve been even more bad ass, but a few months too late for WW2. The Sea Fury took up its crown and totally smashed the rules and imo became the best ever prop driven fighter/attack aircraft.

Apparently Tempests were the only aircrafts capable of catching up with v2 rockets and were used to shoot them down. Superb video.
@carlosallende25955 жыл бұрын
Perhaps you have mixed up V2 rockets with V1's. No plane would have been capable off catching up to a V2, they launched faster than the speed of sound. There were British jets in ww2 that downed V1's but no plane was ever officially recorded as having downed a V2 missile. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKKwXnqLiJucpas
