I’m a niners fan and to be fair he doesn’t want to think about the implications of the Vikings potentially winning the division or making the playoffs. 😂 On the skeptical side it’s still 2 games in and the 49ers have had trouble for decades playing at the Vikings stadium for whatever reason. The 49ers haven’t been able to win against the Vikings when they play at Minnesota since 1992 or 32 years! That being said the vikes have a great start and they are definitely talented. Everybody talks about how lousy the 49ers played as a team in media or how Purdy sucks without giving the Vikings their due flowers and playing a good game. It will be interesting to see how Sam Darnold and the Vikings turn out this year if they are able to put it all together. Maybe we’ll see you in the playoffs (hopefully not at your stadium).😢

Example? When the Lions drove for a go-ahead score at 16-13, what if the Bucs immediately responded? It was a different kind of game. When plays had to be made, one team made them more often than the other and won the game. I understand the pessimism from any Buccaneer fan who predates Brady. The Bucs are now in the record books for a thing only 11 franchises ever accomplished. Starting 2-0 for the fourth consecutive season. Good teams find ways.... The other rookie QBs being dog shit means JJ McCarthy is probably the S-Tier QB of the 2024 draft. Penix is probably the A-Tier QB of the draft. The main thing that blows my ass is the fact that the complete mediocrity and awful playing of people being paid upwards of $60 MILLION A YEAR is actually insane…if I fucked up as bad as these quarterbacks and general players as well, I’d be fired by the end of the week, and I make way less than a percent of what some of those players make. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. You can’t claim they make a fun/quality product either because the current products sucks ass and is either boring or just plain cringeworthy, with a team continuing to win it all that people are entirely sick of (besides the fans who clearly want the world to continue to burn).

Caleb Williams is playing with the same O line Justin fields did last year that everyone said was actually good and Fields was the problem. And they gave Williams better weapons. I can't help to imagine what the Bears offense, or just the Bears in general, would look like if we had just kept Justin, especially with this defense we have now... With him, we were at least average to good, depending on the week, and our defense would blow leads or give up 30+ week after week. But shit, it's still just week 2 and all of us who have rookie QBs need to just give them the year to figure things out. It's just rough when you know your GM went ALL IN on the offense and defense and then put it in the hands of a rookie QB who can't seem to figure things out at all and looks lost. We still don't have a good O line, so that doesn't help, but still... He's missing throws he shouldn't miss and taking sacks he shouldn't take. It's just frustrating and I needed to vent, but I'm still happy to give the kid time, it's just hard due to the situation that took place over the off season. A lot of us loved Fields and he seemed to be finally figuring things out and finally settling in during the 2nd half of last season. We just gotta hope things turn around.
