This year!! I was born in Cygnet hospital, I grew up between Cygnet and Huonville, I went to primary school in Cygnet! We banked in Cygnet, my grandfather once had a large hardware business there, I remember an old fashioned Apothocary, a milkbar, the school tuck shop, my father's relatives nearby! The competitions with the Catholic school, the Swans, the waterways, the green & gold school uniforms! 🤔💕🤗

Cygnet was a very important port for transportation of local produce to Hobart and beyond, particularly Apples! It must have suffered greatly when the apple industry collapsed in 1970, and so many people had to move for alternative work! It looks like it's thriving now as a really productive and friendly community! Genuine warmth and welcome is hard to find now anywhere, and the fresh healthy air and food cannot be topped, don't ever change Cygnet! 💓

Hey Tom I watched a lot of your NZ videos which I loved. I recently was searching for info on Cygnet in the Huon on account that it is a beautiful part of Australia with a lot of lovely river/sea views and came across your video. Thanks so much was good to listen to your commentary. Looked a bit cold /quiet when you were there though...

Thanks, Tom. It’s raining in Cygnet today so I stayed inside and took your walk instead. Nice town.

Hi Holden, if you see Dodgy Dave the didge blower could you remind him he must pay my $20,000 back now? (He ripped me off when we bought our land in Oz when he was making babies with our neighbour before our divorce while I was teaching and paying the mortgage. Thankyou 🌻🕸🌻( I do wish him well, but fair is fair! )

Hello...if you see Dave Reynolds from Birmingham, the guy who blows didgeridoo up yoga people, could you remind him he needs to pay his debt to me back. Its $20,000. He told me going to court would cost too much, when I had returned from my best friend's funeral. We bought our land 50:50. He manipulated everyone against me in very cruel ways. After my teaching qualifications gave him his ticket to Oz. When I was teaching he made a baby with our neighbour before our divorce. I paid for our mortgage, it was not ok that he took so much from me.I wish him well. But he needs to pay his debt back. Beautiful vid, by the way 🌻
