Please ignore this video. There is so much incorrect footage included I don't know where to start. The colourful hilltop castle is in Portugal. The high rise footage is Sydney and inexplicably, the museum footage at 14:18 is the bloody Louvre in Paris!!!! And we haven't even finished the intro!!

It can get very cold, as low as 5*C sometimes, but not very often. We still get sunny days throughout the winter. Best time to visit is during the spring / summer :)

Rains all year around. It’s mid December now, and in fact it’s again, raining outside right now in the city, cloudy and miserable. Don’t move here, it has caused me the most debilitating depression that is untreatable only by getting away. Have been stuck on this island for 23 years and only now have managed to find a safe haven on the mainland. People love romanticising Hobart and Tasmania, but to live here the reality is very, very different.

Launceston is full of colonial architecture. They do not have a Sydney Opera House replica either.

I thought the video was carefully selecting places and facts only pertinent to Hobbart and Tasmania. Place is so remote that most viewers wouldn't notice a mixture of pictures from other places the way people wrote in the comments below. The natural wonders except some animals are quite reminiscent of so many places on most continents where population is higher and chances to get visited by tourists is higher thanks to avoiding geographical remoteness.
