Ive been doing it way wrong for many years. I have been building endurance and always thought hand/finger fatigue was building speed, but I was thinking about it all wrong. Thanks for this great video!!

Hey Mr. Hess, i highly apreciate you spreading this highly worthy knowledge. Your approach to the instrument towards efficiency etc amazes me and inspires me... I wanted to thank you for making this knowledge available for me (and others) ive wanted to ask u for advice on diving deeper into implementing music theory in a practical sense (i watched ur livestreams on that topic but a seperat video would be amazing. Somethink like implementing knowledge of triads or the chord scale relationship or basic harmony in progression....) Keep it up and excuse my articulation its not my first language '-'

Mr. Hess thank you so much for this and other lessons. So clear explanation and with such positive energy... It is clear how much you love our instrument. And I love it so much as well I try to learn as much as I can, I play just for myself and for fun and pleasure, for sure I am not even near a half of your dexterity but I enjoy listen to you and try your advices. If I can ask you something It would be nice to have more execises to practice as the last one in this lesson.... it is a simple sequence but it works so well... I would like to have a complete riff like that 😊 tomorrow I will download the PDF and I will probably find them there. Great job anyway. Thank you so much for your commitment and professionality. Hi Tom, first of All I'd like to thank you for all the great guitar videos that helped me a lot to increase my guitar technique. I have a big problem that drives me crazy. Whenever I play the finger-combination 1-2-4, for example in a chromatic scale, my third finger, that isn't playing at the moment, slows down my speed. It is flying above the fretboard, much more, that it would be neccesary, and I cramp immediately. When I rest the third finger on the next string, for example on the d-string, so that is Isolated, I can play the 1-2-4 combination real fast. But as soon as I bring the third finger back to the game and lift it from the string, I cramp again and can play the 1-2-4 combination only really slow. That really frustrates me. Have you got an advice that could help me fixing this problem? That would be awesome! Thanx and greetings, Flo from Germany😊
