Ensure your spouse is your best friend. Best friends respect each other, they don’t dominate each other, they do their utmost not to hurt each other. A lot of marriages are not made up of best friends.

@@letscookeasyrecipes2370 I get it, I was fretting at 33 too but it happened eventually. Fretting didn’t help by the way - potential partners are put off by the desperation as they sense it. Get close to Jesus, he is your all in all - make him that. Mix and meet people but exude confidence in who you are in God - this God given confidence comes across well and will be your inner strength whatever life brings. 🙏

This was so good,we need to be honest about the stripping process of The LORD in our lives because I believe marriage most important function for male and female in The LORD those that are called to it or desires it is to make us our best selves in Christ. And the ones who doesn't desire marriage, trust me The LORD has alot of other ways He can and will use to grow us to. I can speak to that personally I definitely had my share of crying out to The LORD that I can't take it anymore, (the fire of The LORD) as a single woman who never married and don't desire to marry in Christ😊 I do believe The LORD also wants us to experience happiness and joy because it's also The LORDs love language but disciplining us and purifying us I believe is most necessarily process we need to go through in the earth realm.❤We have all rest of eternity to fully enjoy The LORD and His Goodness without any Hard Work😅

I could tell that he was rough on her but I didn’t realize the age difference, I think when men are older than women, they act as your father, my husband was 11 years older than me and it was a disconnect, but her father knew it from the start, that it was not going to work, but some men want to Lord it over there wives, I believe somewhere in him, he did not want to deal with a mature woman, so he chose her, but he had to mature as much as she did

Clearly the marriage has had its ups and downs but all marriages do, that’s the point. I agree if singles are watching this they should take the advice to marry someone closer to them as a friend. Know them well before marriage. The age thing only matters if you are young. My husband is 16 yrs older than me but we are best friends and I was a mature woman when we married. He has never been a father replacement. I knew my own mind. Importantly I knew who I was in Christ. If you are young you can grow into this knowledge together but always have your eyes open to the process.
