Nice layout. I too am running mainly Japanese commuter trains and Japanese buildings. I even threw in a Godzilla for fun. BTW. Many model airplanes are about the same scale as Kato N scale. (1:150. Many models are 1:144) So you can add them to you layout too if youre looking to expand.(A lot)

Hello. When I was looking for someone on KZbin who enjoys modeling railroads overseas, I found your video. I was born and raised in a region where the Tsugaru Railway runs. I'm very happy that the Tsugaru Railway is running in Canada. It may be far from Canada, but please come and take the real Tsugaru Railway someday. In winter, a train called Stove Train runs, so it's fun. Tomix's rail cleaning car is convenient when cleaning out of reach, such as tunnels and iron bridges. In my layout, I wipe the rails with a cloth soaked in KATO's cleaning solution. I don't understand English, so I'm commenting using a translation app. Maybe the translation is wrong. If there is an expression that makes you misunderstanding, I'm sorry at that time.

Using the sandpaper brush is not recommended unless it’s really dirty as they make dirt stick faster on track. Personally I’m not happy with the cleaning performance of the Tomix cars; LUX is far superior. They do make nice vacuum cleaners however.

Thanks for your feedback. To be honest, I like to clean the tracks by hand. Main reason for getting this car was to clean the tracks in the tunnels. I did something silly a while ago using rubbing alcohol that did more damage to my tracks than anything else. My trains are running quite smoothly now. I will look in to the LUX that you've recommended. Honestly, I like Kato products MUCH more than Tomix as I had motor burn out on my Series 313.

Great video apart from the music which is far too loud and annoying.
