Sammie Withers I did for a number of years. Drove to the station every day.

I used to ride a motorbike daily for 100+ miles a day. A Caterham seems like luxury in comparison.

I’d agree with that. 😂

A very fair and accurate review. Just to add a couple of things; re driving in the rain, at over 35mph it just goes over your head and you can do big big miles; my best is 680 in a day. I have the 270S SV with 6 speed box
@TheAutoDad5 жыл бұрын
680 in a day sounds insane. Did you need earplugs?
@mikemoore72505 жыл бұрын
@@TheAutoDad No, never use earplugs. My local 7 group does a monthly 200+ mile sunday blat, no music needed, the exhaust is addictive enough
@TheAutoDad5 жыл бұрын
Mike Moore totally agree with that. My ears must be too sensitive from music haha!

One other point about driving a 7 in the rain is the ease with which you can aquaplane. I was running down the M67 (that floods rather readily) in heavy rain and ended up having to slow to the point the heavies were coming past me in order to keep it running straight.
@TheAutoDad4 жыл бұрын
What tyres did you have on? I didn’t find the ones I’ve had too bad in torrential rain so long as you stick to 60mph.
