This is the best review I've seen of this truck. No-one else bothered to take it apart and show us the chassis, or to use a rotary dial so they can raise and lower it in a scale manner, rather than a sudden lurch. I enjoyed every second of the montage, too!

Matt at Scale Builder's Guild did a video including installing a device from Hey ok I think, its specifically designed for this truck that allows you to set the servo speed to appear scale using the stock radio. With some fancy radios you can just control servo speed via settings.. Cheers 👍

Man , i really wish redcat had a UK dealer . The hauler isn't really my cup of tea but I can appreciate it for what it is. In the last 12 months there have been atleast 3 releases from redcat that i'd happily add to my collection but as you've explained, the shipping and VAT just blows any chance of that straight out of the water. C'mon Redcat! Also appreciate that you stuck to your guns with the " you don't need to be first to put out a good video" idea Phil. Was nice to see your take on it

I really appreciate you still pointing out flaws (headlights, servo switch) despite redcat sending you the rig. Every other channel just talks good about whatever they’re sent to be in good hands with the company, and it pisses me off lol

This a great looking hauler. Redcat has a done a wonderful job on this r/c. I am sure in the Summer if you went to car shows across the U.S. these will be seen. As you said, in the low rider community it will be very popular. Redcat has come so far in the quality of its products, I don't recall if you reviewed but the Ascent crawler is suppose to be quite good. This vehicle is just cool. In the UK they hold meets where Tamiya haulers are put on display and driven around, Although this doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Tamiya giant semis, I wonder what people at those shows would think of this? You did a excellent review.

I love my redcats. My gen 7 pro is a tank, it's gone off 45ft+ drops and ate it like a champ. Only thing I've broken in a year of consistent abuse is a driveshaft and a rod end.
