This video is awesome what a cool event. Reminds me of a smaller scale Bonneville Speed Week. I run the same Radiolink system and would love it if you could explain how to upgrade it like you have as well as how to properly run over 4s on them. I'm still newish to the hobby and don't have any RC's over 4s currently but know I will eventually.

@@jasonbecker4997 Sometimes I don't judge a song by it's lyrics, I judge it by its emotion. I used to train hard with Linkin Park blasting in my ears... Although if you want to see where the lyrics could fit with this video, the RC Hobby is an escape for many people, and quite often 'Men' that play with toys are judged and frowned upon. "I'm tired of being what you want me to be..."

The organizers could move the pit boxes at the starting position, than you would not need any fencing besides the control tower. This would also make it safe for drones to follow the cars. that would be epic footage. You could even make it a combined rc event.

10 30$ 4k action cams and $10 dollar battery banks and $3 tripods on ali would make epic footage for these events. A true unique perspective no one is experiencing. You could probably even get a handful of the lads to lend old go pros to save some. Just let them run through the day spaced alone the strip then upload each run to a google drive for everyone to snag theirs.

Congratulations. Wish I could be there and pass with ease. Did 159mph on public road over here with me 4s 124019. Its a living hell just to run plus the treacherous road with bumps and patches lol. Nevertheless, every speed hunter faces different obstacles. Just enjoy what we have and try to do the best of it.

I have had my Rlaarlo AK-917 up to 90 with Perfect Pass! It also has been regeared and has foam tires, heavy shock oil, dampers, XT90 ends with a 120C HV 3s battery, and a Dumbo RC receiver with gyro!

So interesting to see. I once was a guest at a similar event as a teenager back in - 2004 or 2005, and everyone was using nitro fueled cars. Even though they looked not much different (from what I rememer) they were making by far less km/h on the straight and took miles to reach the topspeed with people using remote controls with 2+ meter antennas to stay in contact with their cars. I just rememer one electric car from that event, using something like a 4x6cell or even 4x8 NiMH battery pack, burning the motor out every single run that afternoon. Just crazy how electric rc cars have overtaken nitro cars since then and are that far ahead 20 years later...
