I remember Steve McManaman leaving and that still hurts every time he's commenting. Another thing about loyalty to clubs is that players sign contracts with release clauses that if certain club's come in for them they can leave for a set price Alexis Mac Allister at Brighton signed an extension before the world cup with certain clauses. If Trent leaves for nothing it will hurt his status with the fans in my opinion.

Sorry but TTA has lost my respect, I don't see him being loyal to Liverpool with the hide and seek for the past few months. I being a fan of Liverpool for over fourty over years I'm not happy with the way that he has been playing his card to put his childhood club with his status. Sorry I've supported LFC all my life, I,m 58 a scouser, and TAA is NOT worth £400,000 a week. Can't defend too slow and lazy? Most goals we have conceded have involved Trent. Sell him and get as much money as poss and bring in more players

In my opinion, he can leave. I find it amusing hearing him talk about his aspirations of winning the Ballon d'Or. Let him go to Real Madrid, and in a year, we’ll see how that works out. Don’t get me wrong-I love him, but if there’s one player I expected more loyalty from, it’s him.
