Great first video of the year Tomlin! I've had that sucking problem in the past and at times, depending on what I'm playing and what "pressure" I'm in or how little I'm paying attention to what I'm doing, I may slip back to the suck vs. breath and I catch it AFTER I hear it.

Now, I agree with all so far but! “Sucking” on a low note for a moment can give the blues a “growl”...a dirty, biker bar in Killeen, Texas growl lol...so, to suck into a breath in one draw can give both. But yes, breathing with that Butterfield trill and hitting that growl...mmhmm! Thanks for the upload!

I did this at first on my marine band and I thought there was something wrong with my harp 😆

I did that on a Hohner Blues Harp (not the cheap Bluesband). There are times I still fall into this and suck instead of breathing.
