I wouldn't mind visiting Chatham docks sometime is it just demonstration trains or do they carry passengers, theres also the Bristol harbour railway, its a big shame nothing survives of the dock railway in liverpool, glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching. Tom

Evening. Fantastic exhibition as always. I am wondering next year you would be interested in our layout at your exhibition. We have a n gauge layout of the old line from Broughton to Coniston in the lakes including Woodlads,Torver and the viaduct. Full exhibition standard. 40 foot in total but can be split into Broughton and Coniston. Please contact me if interested. Cheers. Alan

Nice selection of steamies, but why nothing of our present day preserved railway scene? BR Days are in the past, let's hope we see something like preserved steam engines sometime. However, there is a video I uploaded for Sam's Trains' birthday, creating a main line scene that's lost to us: City of Truro hauling Intercity Mk. 1 coaches.

I'll have to look out for a preserved line at the next exhibition

@@northwesttrainsmodels I am a Thomas fan. I plan to make my own Ffarquhar layout in the future but according to the Railway Series illustrations and not being a replica of Awdry’s layout. I plan to run all of Awdry’s timetables on it, the MK1 1955, MK1 1965 and MK2 1982 timetables with the movements adapted and changed to fit the RWS track plan. The MK2 1982 timetable was written up for the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition of 1982. It is the timetable you saw running at Preston and is the one I’m currently working on. The timestamp is for me as a point of reference As there is no official copy of Awdry’s commentary script freely available publicly which you hear in the video, I have to watch as many videos as I can of the layout and take note of all the commentary word for word and work it into my timetable

@@MrNoUsername maybe you could get intouch with the people who have the layout they might be willing to send you copys of the scripted time table
