It touches my soul when he sings to his grandma. No matter what, I always knew that my grandmother was praying for me & loving me. she was the most humble person I knew in my life; living in the basement of another person's home but still going to the "old-folks" home to cook for them, even when she was old enough to be there herself, and giving her portion to the needy as God instructed. She accepted who she was, what she was capable of, and demanded nothing from others - she always looked for ways to provide for others. She was also my 3rd mother before I was 3. I know she would cringe at Tom's appearance ;), but approve of his message & hug him & love him.

This is the biggest gift you could have ever given your grandmother is her love back. And recognize her sacrifice. There's so many people in our families that give and give and give and we don't recognize them sometimes we actually pity them or think they're not living the life that they should live. But it is their honor to be able to be in that position to give. Thank you for telling me about your grandmother. Remarkable woman.

I think more they respect each other as people and support each other, a balance, a true partnership. Sometimes one may have less energy and the other picks it up, the next time reversed and then other times they are a perfrct match. It is definitely goals, both partners working to make it work, no games, lies or bs. And they probably do have issues deciding where to eat lol.

Stay strong with us. God is omnipotent, your goal is to follow His commandments. We all die our way out of this. Then it’s our judgement. He explains our judgment is based on our desire, acts and mindset to wanting His will. Partake in the Sacraments, love the beatitudes, and ‘pray without ceasing’. That’s the basic formula. Day to day, but mostly just pray for your kids, our neighbors and everyone around you. When we all die, we meet God and go to Heaven, hell or purgatory; we all should hope for heaven or the purge. You’re actions now can actually help your kids now. God is outside of time (he made it), so pray for your kids daily. My wife and I have lost children too. Most importantly, trust in Christ, He knows you, your sons and everyone around them more perfectly than you know yourself. I truly suffer with you and know your pain is deep. Gods Grace is deeper. We have to trust Him. Pray and be Holy, for you, your sons and those around you. Hope to chat in the future.

i think what sets Tom apart from most other rappers is that his songs are about universal experiences that all people can relate to, and not about some eccentric flamboyant lifestyle, like most rap music has been reduced to. everyone can relate to what his songs are about and this one is a good example. we all at some point have this experience that we sometimes may be hurting our parents thru our life choices.

This one is literally about perspective of an industry rapper stuck in a lane of success monetarily but feeling out there alone caught up in "fame" but not in the way he had originally wished to come about it. Autotune is from the industry rapper's point of view, not the artists who are conveying this important message to you. Listen to the track a few times and remember who these three are, and you will clearly see the artistic vision for this one right here. They are not selling out at all but rather, telling the story through the eyes of an industry rapper stuck in a game they never wanted to play this way. 69, baby goth, and many others come to mind.

Happy Friday Tom Madchild and Nova! I recently discovered you with "I hate Hip Hop" aka Tom a saver of Hip Hop. The toxicity of hip hop which glamorizes sexual immorality, drugs, materialism, and violence is why I stop listening to it after 2005. I like you because you are a quality artist that talks about values, real issues, moral messages and you expose the popular nonsense that desensitizes people. I love your vulnerability and raw honesty because it is relatable!!! Also, I am sorry that people misjudge you I can relate to being judged by speaking my truths being a Christian you become the epitome of an unpopular opinion. But I hope and pray we all can learn to accept and love each other differences and respect one another even if we don't agree. Your beautiful, rich tone and innate musicality, innovative sound and lyrical prowess are mind-blowing. Your lyrics come from the heart and I appreciate all of you. It is definitely a team effort to make your music and videos reach the hearts and minds of the world without compromising your morals. Your music makes people think and don't dumb down anything which I respect. What you talk about is what I been feeling for years and that is why I am a fan. Thanks for changing the game. You are a refreshment to my soul. I am letting all my family and friends know about you and now my mom loves you. Keep up the good work. Sorry but like to write books lol it is cathartic for me I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Looking forward to more wonderful music from you!!! Remember to stay positive!!!!!

To Joyful, You know rap wasn't corrupt until the entertainment Industry started to be stockholders in private prisons. Labels owned shares. How do you keep private prisons at 90%...you MK Ultra them through what's popular and target race, society level and income levels. Rap was hot, so each artist who signed with a label was told to either sign a form that let their music influence others to act out and hype up the "Thug life" as a goal. With that in place, the younger people would end up getting locked up. The artists who didn't sign either created their own labels or gave up. Some signed and made their money (after the label robbed them blind) then bought a studio, label and warned upcoming artist. Some have been assassinated ie Nipsey Hussle & others. This is a fact, not a Conspiracy theory.

As a former addict, this song hit in a very uncomfortable place. My mom is gone now, and I was such a piece of shit disaster when she was still here. I'm about 4 years sober now.

Did your mom get to see you clean before she passed? I’m also a former addict, been clean since 1-18-10. I put my parents and many more that cared about me through some absolutely sad, pathetic, uncontrollable, angry situations. My mom passed a few years ago. Getting clean was thing I’m glad I got to accomplish before she passed. Sadly enough, my daughter was born in the same day my mom passed. Keep your head up. There is always better days ahead. They won’t be easy. If they were, nobody would relapse or fall into addiction in the first place. Set the date you got clean so every year you can see your progress knowing you made it another year. Stay strong

@@YourGrannysThong unfortunately she didn't. We lived in different states and the last time she visited it was absolutely awful. However, after she got back home we talked daily sometimes 5 or 6 times a day. She was my best friend. I poured my entire heart out to her and just apologized in every single manner that I could. And she understood. She had forgiven me. Her baby of 4 girls. I went to prison 3 weeks after she died. I am grateful she wasn't alive to see that . I got clean after leaving.
