Hi Joel. Thanks for sharing with the community this quick run down of how you setup and grade a music video. I found your channel through your color grading tutorials, and eventhough I don't comment on all of them, I watch and enjoy your content because they are instructional and professional. You do a wonderful job. Keep it up! 👏

Really helpful thanks you so much sharing this information it’s really valuable. Btw, I found out the BGM a little bit loud & distracting, maybe it’s only me. I’m not sure.

Thanks! Will keep that in mind for the BGM

Good video mate.. 🙂..scene detector is fine until you hit dissolves then you need the original footage with handles (with the duration of the dissolve..)
@Tommirock7 күн бұрын
That is true, however with some projects with dissolves I will add the cut at the end of the dissolve and automate a node to correct the grade running into the next scene

Great video! I have a question. I like your method of making groups by scenes. But it is also necessary to create groups for different cameras when the project was recorded with different cameras. How is it done? Can the same clip be assigned two groups? (camera and scene) thank you very much!

Thanks! Usually my work consist of similar cameras in scenes, however if you do have different cameras you can still group them to get her in their own group for that scene and have 2 groups per scene based on each camera used.
