I think Lando's standard helmet is actually a lot better (personally) But what I think is even more important: Lando's Helmet is by far the most unique one and so easily identified. I am pretty new to F1 and I can pretty much only recognize Lando's Helmet straight away

Colapinto's Reutemann helmet was the best helmet design in the past couple years. We need more simple helmets that drivers could stick with, not these emotionless cartoons that will be forgotten after a month. Vettel proved it works in the zeitgeist, now everybody needs to follow.

At this point I just watch all of these Tommo helmet or livery design rating videos in order to see just how far apart our tastes are, because usually the ones he thinks are mid or even clanger are awesome looking to me and the ones he thinks are top tier are usually around mid tier in my eyes, though we do agree that Bottas special helmet is top tier (though so is his normal one to me).

As an Alex Albon fan I love his regular helmet, but his Panda helmet was creepy AF. Oscar’s basic helmet looks like one he just grabbed off the shelf from like the 80s-90s. Checo’s 2024 helmets are about as good as his driving in 2024.
