When emotions running high, common sense is at a all time low is no joke and true. That's the reason so many bad things happen because people react after 2 seconds without realizing the ramifications.

You think that's real? Do you think a white man would have hosted the Oscars in 2016 to tell Will Smith his wife wasn't invited? Fast forward to 2022 and the same corporate comedian disparages his wife in front of his face. You know the same punk ass that has a book about black hair. Chris Rock is corporate and he's a long way from his HBO specials. There was a movement for the black elite in Hollywood because the award show didn't recognize their work. Black elite said don't show up and white corporate said we're going to get Chris Rock because he's a sellout. The only problem is he should have slapped them a long time ago. Just because you will jingle and sing and dance for the white man doesn't mean everybody will. At least if you do it don't disparage someone else that is black and has a black family but here's your dollar so start to move and I'll tell you how high

Understood about his emotions being "high" but they seemed to be on a "positive" high before the announcement of his win . . . and then they changed on a dime right after the side eye. Correct, Will knew Chris was an easy target & that "society" isn't shocked to expect male, black on black violence. I know Will's high intelligent, calculated & meticulous thought process, because he explained it in his book, edited it, & narrated it himself. As Chris's joke wasn't that insulting, and could've actually been taken seriously enough to lead to an actual "GI Jane" role for Jada, the person Will should've really cursed out was Amy Shumer, who said "Will lets men run in & out of his wife like a convenience store" (something to that affect). So, in my opinion, Will still took the coward's way by choosing an easy target, even though he's been fighting his self-professed cowardice all of his life.

I don’t think there would have been a slap or anything if it were Will defending Will that Oscar night,, It was Will at his highest in his career in his life journey,, the night he spent so many years working for,,He finally achieved it! A Oscar that no one should be able to take away from him! He earned it! Denzel was so right at his highest moments Satan did come for him but I don’t know if Will has even noticed that Satan has been there and was there in a green dress, that looked terrible on her,, dress so long Will had to worry about the train of the dress like it was her wedding dress! She had to make the night all about herself as usual,, no need to spend 0$$ on a wig no not any hair since she’s so upset about her baldness! I’ve not seen any sign of Alopecia by a hair tract problem and 269,000 on a dress that she couldn’t even sit beside her husband on his night not even comfortably because of the dress!that was too much dress for her small frame! Since the slap was to defend her that has never needed any defending, but she had to take a simple compliment a joke that required her rolling her eyes at her husband that was laughing but seeing her laugh go west the hoodoo witchcraft look she gave Will with the evil eyes saying to him oh don’t get up and go defend me oh no but just wait and see what lies I’m going to start telling on you my husband oh good lies ones nobody will ever think of until I taunt you with them all making life a nightmare for this man until she’s made a broken man a broken Will! she’s evil and needs to publicly also with Will apologize to Chris

Will doesn't deserve such harsh punishment. I love you will and will support you all the way.

I have a problem with everybody viewing Chris as weak, when it was Will Smith who reacted to Jada Smith rolling her eyes. Tommy sounded a little jealous of Chris

They all are jealous of Chris...especially after his ticket sales sky rocketed...

@@tamarawilliams1197 Chris will NEVER see those ticket sales again. I went to his show and it was terrible and people were walking out. It was nice that he made some money from the controversy.

The background is disrespectfully loud. I’m glad there are subtitles but come on man.

This also showed the world just how much of impact and influence Jada has on Will. Narcissistic individuals never see their wrong doings
