I was at that concert with about the same view. Words can not describe the evening. Truly an amazing show. Thanks for posting one of the highlights of the evening. I can relive the night anytime now.

Tommy performed this song yesterday in Florence, Italy! I was there, totally astonished when he started picking the first notes...awesome talent, and two hours and a half concert without any interruption.

Nuages is French for "Clouds". Tommy does a version straight from his heart and soul. I was lucky enough to see this actual performance. It was incredible.

In many respects it may be said this is Django's signature tune."Nuage" was an anthem for an occupied France that was so immediately popular the audience insisted on hearing it 3x in a row before Django could play anything else. Django was to the Guitar what Louis Armstrong was to the horn. Many who play six strings today have no idea how much they owe him. Tommy knows and it shows. "J'attandrai"- I am listening.
