I remember dumpster diving skateshops back in the day. Some kid would throw away perfectly good trucks or wheels. I doubt people do that still today. One skate shop had a vulture bin. A bin where people would sit their old stuff for people to take for free.

cool! i remember the bones brigade doing that vert tour in in england and i went to see them on a shitty wet day in london. this vert ramp was red metal coated and i think tommy just sat in the van all the time. dont think tony was there either for some reason. but i remember there were new bones wheels just out and i said to lance "dude, ill swap my watch for your wheels!" i had a new swatch watch. and he just said "dude, i cant skate a watch" lol i was gutted cos i thought like, im sure they must have boxes of those wheels on tap from powell like. but yeah, great days. thanks for talking to me lance! lol

A straight up legend of the game that skated for the old school Powell-Pirelta.
