Haas has definitely one of the cleanest technique, very straightforward, focusing on having the cleanest hit to the ball. His serve especially is just about control and precision. Some might call it old technique and lack of power, I'll call it elegance.

Very nice vid! This angle really gives the viewer a front row seat to watch & learn how a pro like Haas works his magic. I think this is the best angle for a student because you can see the ball coming right at you and then see what Tommy does to get into position for a clean strike on the ball. On many shots, he gets low and under the ball and scoops it up right off the bounce with fabulous use of his semi-western or full-western grip.
