I have no former experience with Tommy Hilfiger, I've always thought of it as a typical, borring and generic smelling "out of the shower" brand, but when it was on sale here in Denmark, I tried Impact Intense and was pleasantly surprised; bought the 50ml EDP. Great stuff! Too my nose, it has the sweet chestnut note like 'Armani: Stronger With You Absolutely', a tiny bit of the woody/peppery sharpness in the opening from 'Givenchy: Gentleman EDP Boisee', and maybe a bit of the powdery/toffee feel from 'Azzaro: The Most Wanted EDP'. Maybe it will still suffer a bit from the old "generic brand" perception that many people have of Tommy Hilfiger, at least for a while, but I can see, from the availability in the shops, that people here in Scandinavia are slowly realizing how good this stuff actually is. Maybe it's going be a serious game changer? :)

For me it's a combination of "By the Fireplace", Layton & "Stronger with You". Not so bad.

I got this a few months ago. It is interesting . The most prominent note to me is cardamom. This is not a clone of layton by any means. It has some similar vibe but from a designer point of view.

Just got mine today !!! What a great scent...omg.....not like ANY other Tommy scent. This is close to niche IMO. Classy, woody,/spicy/resin/aromatic with sweetness. The dry down is top notch. Performance is decent as well. LOVE ! and a big surprise blind-buy.

That red apple note hits so well. I just picked up YSL Y Le Parfum and it is an absolute beast. It's like Polo Black on Steroids lol In my opinion.

If you want an alternative layton on budget like literally, Try using Luxodor Loyal Agar. They have 30 ml, and 80 ml. 30ml will cost you about 16 dollars and the 80ml will cost about 30-35 dollar. Like it's a bang for a buck house. The house itself clones different types of perfumes. Usually the PDM house. Check them out bro if it's available. All of the concentration are Extrait de Parfum. I love Parfums de Marley. Own a bottle of Carlisle and Layton AND I have to say this TH Impact Intense is insanely good. It really smell like niche as there is depth and quality in this fragrance, truly crazy value for the price... and Tommy Hilfiger... WTF?

to clarify this doesn't smell anything like Layton. I would probably draw a bit more comparison with Layton Exclusif but without the Oud and replaced with more nut and wood notes.

.. for me the original Tommy Hilfiger EDT is still the best or at least among the very best .. its not sweet nor salty, its not spicy nor does it lasts forever .. that's why I love it; I'd hate to be continuously smelling something all day long .. it smells so easy, so good without any 'trying hard to impress' vibes .. and it has never induce any headache nor nausea from over sniffing .. but its just me, I know 😀😀
