Hi David, I agree with everything you expressed in this reaction, but we have that feeling of loss because we won't see them together anymore, except on special occasions. But I think Tommy will benefit the most, because he will have the freedom to get up ✈️🛫🚀 and thus grow in his career, the right decision.👍🤝🤘

Oh David, I am so sad that I had to miss your livestream. Tommy's good bye..I was happy and sad at the same time. You are right he is doing what is best for him and still this video made me sad...and my tears flowed like crazy. He is too good a musician to just be in a band, even if that band is Sabaton. I am just so thankful that I had the opportunity to see him with Sabaton 4 times last year. I understand your tears. I feel the same. And now we look to the future and wait for great things of Tommy and Majestica ❤.

What a beautiful way to pay tribute. As you said David..if Tommy has made this difficult decision to leave Sabaton and his heart knows it's the right thing for him..he has done himself proud.. Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when there is mutual respect and genuine love. But, look at the legacy..look at all they have achieved together. My heartfelt wish to Tommy for a wonderful chapter to begin in his life..and to Sabaton as well. The paths may divide but the connection of friendship can never be broken.. I will never stop supporting Tommy or Sabaton, I've "met" the band on YT in 2013, still with Thobbe, I have first Tommy's appearance on my favorites... I know he has to go his own way, but...Tommy brought not only his skills to the band. What I'm going to miss the most is his personality, big heart and his sense of humor. Tommy, just his appearance on stage brought smiles to everyone's faces. And no more "Sabaton Twins" (Chris and Tommy, partners in crime 😂) So I have this bitter-sweet feeling. My only hope now, to see Tommy perform live is, if he comes with Majestica to Poland. The stream was great fun, let's do 16 k soon 🤘🔥🎶🇵🇱

A perfectly natural reaction when you feel so connected to both Tommy and the boys in Sabaton! It's a big change, but I think for the better for both parties. Tommy has his own platform now to grow and to follow his heart, and Sabaton is bringing back Thobbe to keep developing their path. But man, that was such a beautiful sign off from Tommy to Sabaton! 😥 Clearly they've had some amazing years together, and I've seen them live twice; in Uppsala and a sold out Avicii Arena - that was epic! I'm not going anywhere though, I will continue to follow them all; Sabaton, Majestica and Tommy, as I guess most of Sabaton's fans will too. 🤘🏻❤‍🔥🤘🏻

It is a great video and lovely tribute to his years with Sabaton. Like the rest of you I fully understand Tommy's decision since Sabaton itself is a full time job with writing new songs for album --> record new album --> Europeans tour --> US your and then repeat. Not much time for Majestica or his youtube channel or collaborations with other artists (like the one did with Erik Grönwall), I think Sabaton is Per's and Joakim's band and that Tommy is "just" the guitarist with not a great deal of room for own ideas/creativity for Tommy. Sabaton is really good at what they do (military power metal) but it can also be too much of same/limiting if one wants to do something different. IMO I think Tommy will really flourish now that he cab focus more on Majestica and his own music, really looking forward to what they boys in Majestica have in store for us.

Спасибо за вашу реакцию и за ваши слезы.Тоже плакала вместе с вами. Группа Сабатон была нашей общей с мужем любовью. Купили билеты на их единственный концерт в Москве 13 марта 2020 года, ждали год.А когда приехали(два дня на поезде),концерт оказался под угрозой отмены из-за ковида. Но состоялся!!!! Зная о таланте Томми,все время говорила мужу,что он заслуживает большего, чем быть на "задворках" у Сабатон,на что он отвечал,что быть гитаристом у группы такого масштаба не "задворки". Также,как и вы плакала,когда узнала,что Томми ушел из Сабатон,хотя уже 4 года Сабатон не могу слушать,потому что в том же 2020 году умер муж от ковида...Три года не могла слушать музыку вообще,потом потихоньку начала,но Сабатон нет,это так больно,это так связано с мужем.. Теперь слежу за творчествомТомми ,считаю его гениальным музыкантом и певцом. Вам ещё раз спасибо за такую реакцию и возможность очередной раз поплакать.

I cried too, though I believe Tommy did the right thing, just like you. Tommy leaving Sabaton marks an end of an era so to speak and endings are always sad even when you believe it will lead to something great. But it's not only sadness that made me teary eyed, it's also the beauty and the mutual love and understanding on both sides. Third time watching Tommys video - third time crying. While smiling at the same time. I'm so curious to see what he will achieve on his own now, because this guy is by far one of the most talented musicians I've ever come across! But as you said - he was part of Sabaton for such a long time. And it makes me damn emotional to see him leaving. I was honestly a little worried about his successor, so I just prayed 'If Tommy's leaving they have to bring Thobbe back'. When they broke the news that indeed Thobbe IS back - everything just fell into place. Tommy pursuing his own career (which will be glorious, THAT I'm sure of!), Thobbe taking the place that Tommy used take from him many years ago. Everything went full circle and I'm happy for everyone now.

I am not that deeply familiar with Sabaton, but I have seen lots of their videos and obviously heard the music. Sabaton is great and not a a shallow band. BUT - I have always felt that Tommy deserved a more prominent spot within the band, at least some of the time. He needs to go and focus on himself, with so much talent and potential that he has. He is a gem and deserves to be in the spotlight. The song is great, as always.
