Above the Sky has everything that I like of power metal , it is delightful and simply marvelous. Tommy is a very talented singer and has a prodigious voice, capable of reaching very high note. ( and great composer, instrument player)The music is great and perfect to sing along with the band( all the members are very talented). The instrumental parts here are exceptional, Majestica music is passion, power and epiciness. We love and we need Majestica in our life. Thank you for reaction!

Majestica is one of my favourite bands (with Sabaton and Nightwish), they are amazing. Tommy started the band back in 2002 (called ReinXeed then) when he and his 2 friends recorded their first song Future Land. Majestica recorded the song later and both versions are on Majestica album Above The Sky. Fun fact: album cover for Above The Sky album was designed by Tommy's Sabaton bandmate Chris Rörland. Lot of band members changed through the years but Chris David (bass) and Alex Oriz (guitar) have been with Tommy since 2012. Alex sadly had to quit the band in 2021 due to injury to his hand. Today Majestica are: Tommy, Chris, Petter Hjerpe (guitar) and Joel Kollberg (drums). To see them all I suggest the song Metal United. I also agree with other their album Christmas Carol is a must. It's a metal adaptation of Charles Dickens story and it's amazing. Other songs I recommend for start are Rising Tide and Night Call Girl.

Love it. Live this summer I got goosebumps all over from that intro and that memory makes me smile every time I hear it. The energy is there form the first nanosecond. This song is a tribute to Eagle Fly Free by Helloween so you will find bits and pieces of it in this one. Tommy is so good at that, weaving it in to his own style. And the drummer Uli Kusch is an ex. Helloween drummer (not in the band today but was recording this).

Everything Tommy sings and play and his band oh my god it’s so amazing I can’t explain how much I love it. And when I heard this song for the first time I’m nearly died. It’s so damn good. I’ve got goosebumps over my whole body. I play it every day and so many times. Daniel, watching you do Tommy Johansson gives me such joy! I finally figured it out! Three years ago my only son was tortured and murdered in Sacramento, and I've since been inconsolable. But you remind me so much of him, with your crazy levels of excitement so akin to Cameron's. It's literally a song about a song, a tribute to "Eagle Fly Free" by Helloween. The song structure is almost identical. Few reactors want to dig deeper than the last five or ten years though, but they are the blueprint for this style of metal. Like all these modern Japanese bands everyone reacts to had their road paved by X Japan and Loudness, but nobody ever reacts to them.

It is time to Come back to Tommy J and Majestica. Since Tommy left Sabaton he has been realy busy with his YT-channel (now 300k subs), recording new material with Majestica and doing other things as a solo-artist. Majestica has released 2 new singels "A new beginning" a pre-album singel and "Powertrain" the titletrack from their upcomming album which will be released 7th of february 2025. Majestica starts touring in Germany the 26th december 2024 and they have more shows booked. It has also just been announced that Majestica will play at Wacken Open Air next summer.
