as usual tommy nailed it l knew this song would be awesome for him with his vocal range seein as joey tempest's vocal range be high too l was 19 and was my senior yr of high school(graduated 2 yrs late) the final countdown be a wicked good album l had joey tempest's pic in my locker and on my bedroom wall

I was 15 years old when Europe became popular throughout European countries. Europe is actually the band that introduced me to this type of hard/ glam rock and metal. At that time, I rather listened to groups like Sisters of Mercy, U2, New Model Army, Depech Mode, etc. However, after the release of "Final Countdown", this entire album also found its way into my teenage collection, alongside such diverse artists as A-ha, Fields of the Nephilim or ....Gary Moore.
