This song was first released back in the 80's by the Italian band Ricchi E Poveri and it was huge all over Europe, I've loved it since I was a child. Tommy did a magnificent job with it, sounds even better

I have heard both the original Italian version and the, in Sweden more popular, Swedish cover by Perikles called Var ska vi sova inatt? - Where shall we sleep tonight?. The lyrics are a bit different. In the Italian version the singer is more wooing the lady, in the Swedish version the singer is just asking the question. Maybe the difference is due to culture differences.
